Remember when the Sears catalog was called the "wish book"? We would look through it and find things we wished we had or maybe just admired. Well our cruises here at Old-Town are sort of like that. Our Friday Night Cruise has a variety of vehicles to look at and admire. You just might see one you wished you had, so come on out and enjoy. Like the catalog, it doesn't cost any thing to look.

It was a beautiful day in Clermont as we headed to Old-Town at our usual time with our 87 S 10 P U. After we got parked and had our evening meal we went out and talked to the cruisers. Bob B's regular cruiser is in the shop so he came out with Larry who had his 2004 Dodge P U out tonight. Stan and Maryann had their 77 Pacer back tonight. Al Corsetti left his Corvette home and brought out his 2010 Tundra. Chris was back again with his 1975 Pontiac Formula 400. He had to get a torque converter for his transmission. These vehicles do keep you busy trying to keep them running all the time. Sean Rogers had his 06 Nissan and we talked to Brandon Roberts who brought out his 09 Chevy Colorado.

George Pennachi had his 05 Yukon and later on Karen came in with her 07 Spyder. Our cruiser of the month for July is Ed Gasdick. He has a 1988 red Convertible Corvette. He chose his loser friends to share his honored spot. Tony has a 1994 Corvette and George and George has an 86 Olds Cutlass. Seems like the losers are winners this month.

Back on trophy row by the office we saw Felix with his 78 Scorpion, Cecil had his 1985 Silverado Chevy truck out tonight and James and Jean Branch were here with their 04 Chevy Blazer. Juan with his 1986 Toyota was under the car port with Gary who has 07 HHR. Dave had his 83 Mercury here tonight.

We talked to Pam and Tim Armstrong who are on vacation here from Tennessee. They had a beautiful 2003 Hummer, Tim did all the detailing on it. They were in the neighborhood and thought they would come and cruise with us. That will be a nice memory for them.

Robert Campiglia had his blue 1987 Mustang here, Ryan had his 08 Mitsubishi and Mike brought out his1990 Corvette. A few regulars are Gerald who had his 96 Ford Ranger, Vinny with his 2005 Dakota, Ken and Sharyn Dodge with their 1995 Ford PU and Luis and Sylvia had their 2003 Nissan Frontier.
We found another first time cruiser, Candido Garcia from Kissimmee brought his 1985 red Olds out to cruise tonight. We hope he becomes a regular. We like to see the older cars come back.

We had some PT Cruisers who come regular every week. Ralph with his 2001 PT, Toby had his 2004 PT and Bert and Laverne had their "Elvis" 07 PT. Bud and Becky also had their 07 PT. Billy is also a PT man but right now he has a 2010 HHR. We talked to Wayne and Connie who were busy wiping their 79 MG Midget. Two of our lady cruisers are Lynn who has a 09 Avalanche and Lori has an 06 Charger.

We have a lot of regular spectators including Bunny, Tom, Alan, Pat and all the Tropical Breeze gang who come out most of the time. The under the stairs gang are our regulars every week too. They do gather under the stairs.

Bob and Norma found their favorite spot for their 06 orange Mustang by the stage. Nearby were Ken and Audrey and they decided to bring the 2010 Jaguar tonight. Next to the bleachers we saw Ramon and his 06 Mustang and Monchito had his 06 Charger. Albert was here with his 2001 Trans Am and we saw Alfonso Soto's 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood.

We talked to Jose Rosado and his wife Brunilda, they have been cruising around 4 years. He has a 1985 Mazda RX-7, this car is all original including the paint. He had another cruiser with him which was a 1983 Toyota and his son drove this one.

The band tonight was "The Mob". This is a good band and the dancers seem to like it very much. Some more cruisers we noticed were Pablo and Nilda with their 96 Taurus, Freddyson had his 03 S 10 Extreme and Tim Andrews had his 87 Olds. We also saw a beautiful 79 Corvette but not the owner. Remember all cruisers are important whether we mention you or not. We had 148 registered cruisers who came out to play tonight.

Our 50/50 was $44.00 and went home to Palm Beach with Gregory. Our Cruise-O-Matic was $400.00 but no takers tonight.

See you all next week.
