When is Spring going to get
here? Where is this global warming? Where is Florida? These are some of the
questions that we were asked lately at our favorite Town (Old-Town)? Well
tonight it was a little warmer and we hope the cold weather is gone.
Lee and Dave warmly welcomed us in on the brick streets at 5 O'clock. After
lunch we headed out to see who had arrived. We came across two very nice
couples, Earl and Mary Reckzin who are from Renfrew, Ontario and Earl's brother
Dave and his wife Karen from North Bay, Ontario, they come every year to Florida
on their vacation and Old-Town is one of their favorite places to come. They
said, "they love it at Old-Town". We welcome all our visitors from Canada who
come and enjoy our Town.
The PT's were on block 4, Bert and Laverne with their 2007 PT, Toby Buck and his
2004, Billy and his 2005 PT, Jon had his 1978 Pontiac and Chuck was a little
later with his 1981 Camaro.
Paul Harrold was at the stairs across from the stage with his 87 Grand National
Buick. We talked to Alexia who brought out his 1988 white Suzuki truck. He has
completely redone this vehicle to his standards. He also added a 1.8 Toyota
motor. Chuck and Linda with their 2 beautiful Corvettes, he has the 78 and she
has the 79. Cousin Vinny had his 2005 Dodge Dakota truck, he also got lucky and
won a flag tonight. Nancy had her 1991 Mustang, Pablo and Nilda the 96 Taurus

86 Olds and Ken and Audrey were back tonight with their 06 Mustang. Andy and

Buffet Concert at the Amway Arena. They specialize in soft rock and roll of
yesterday and today. They had a small game there at which you could win some
small prizes and they were also giving away two tickets to the Jimmy Buffet
show. One drawing at 7 and one at 8. We didn't get the name of the drawing at 7
but at 8 it was Rod and Debbie Eggleston. They are also cruisers who brought out
their 1989 Ford Ranger. This truck sits high on 35 inch tires. Congratulations
on winning the tickets.
Some more cruisers are Bill with his 79 Olds Hurst, Ryan had his 2008 Mitsubishi
Eclipse, Juan had his Mini out tonight. Jim Lentini also had his 79 Mini Cooper
