TGIF............Yes it's Friday
again and the last one in January, where does the time go. We arrived at
Old-Town at our usual time with our 79 T-Bird, Buzz and Sue came in about the
same time with their 2003 "Wolfwagon", they headed for Flippers for their lunch.
Larry was next with his 93 Chevy P U. He went to TexMex to see his friends
there. Tom Coupe made it out with his 83 Ford P U, it looks great after the
makeover. Stan and Maryann brought the Ford Escape, the Pacer is not ready for
cruising yet. Also a first time cruiser was in line, Carl and Di Sheran who
reside near Tampa had their 1984 Buick Regal here tonight. They had this cruiser
about 2 years and also belong to the High Roller Car Club. Ramon was early with
his 2006 Mustang, Doug was here with his Big 2007 Chevy Truck, Nelson and Sharon
Farris with their 1981 Red T-Top Corvette and Barry had his 2009 PT Cruiser
along with a few others were waiting for 5 o'clock.
After we found our favorite spot we were talking to a very nice couple from
Yorkshire, England. Keith and Vivien Ellis are here on a two week vacation. They
sure were enjoying the warmer weather that we have in Florida. We informed them
about our other cruises here at Old-Town. We gave them a complimentary cruise
paper and they said they would follow our cruise on Steve Butler's web site.
After 5 Gator arrived and joined Larry to enjoy our Friday Night Cruise. Block 4
seemed like a truck show tonight. Among them were Kelly and her 2002 Dodge Ram
and Gerald with his 96 Ford P U. Bob and his 2006 PT was the only non truck
there.
Billy with his 2005 PT Cruiser and Ralph with his 2001 PT were parked with Toby
Buck who is Cruiser of the Month for January. Congratulations Toby.
Our losers gang were all here tonight, Ed (loser 1) with his 88 Corvette, he had
Sherry with him tonight. Tony (loser 2) had his 94 Corvette and (loser 3 and
they tell me 3 and a half) are George and George with their 86 Olds Cutlass.
George Pennachi with his 2005 Yukon was by himself on Block one tonight. Around
7 we saw Alfonso Soto come in with his 86 Cadillac. Doug and Joanne stopped by
to say hello and not cruising tonight. We always see Larry and Elaine, who are
regular spectators, out enjoying Old-Town.
Bob B came out with his 2005 SSR, Mike and his 1992 Sonoma and Mike and Diane
were back again tonight with their 1998 El Camino. Dennis and Devon had their 86
Monte Carlo and Jonathan Olesen had his 2004 Scion. Ken and Audrey and their 06
Mustang and Bob and Norma and their 06 Mustang had their favorite spot near the
stage. Jon decided to park on trophy row tonight with his 1978 Pontiac. Tim came
in late and had to park his 87 Olds next to Kid's Town and Sean was their with
his 2006 Nissan.

Juan chose his 76 Mini, one of his many cruisers. Ed Guglich was out with his 83
Mustang and Andy had his 79 Caddy out tonight.
We had a very good band tonight. Michelle and her (Sleep Until Noon) band were
entertaining tonight. The dancers were enjoying it very much. Our neighbors from
down the street were visiting tonight, we hope they soon get a cruiser and join
us.
We thank Allan and the Old-Town staff for another safe cruise for our 155
registered cruisers tonight. Our Cruise-O-Matic was $650.00 tonight. Dave drew
No. 893 but no takers tonight. Our 50/50 was $44.00 and our friend and fellow
cruiser was Mickey who had the winning number.
See you all next week.
