Testing 1

As you all know we usually arrive early at any event we go to. As we were strolling around before a cruise we came across a couple from Ocean City Md. who misplaced their car. They knew it was near the Old-Town sign but that was all. The second time we passed them we told them to press their alarm button on the car key chain but he said he didn't want to bother anyone, so we got the color and make of the car and decided to help them. They went one way and we went the other. A short time later we spotted a car they had described but they were already in it, warning and thanking us for helping them as they went merrily on their way. Another happy ending here at Old-Town.

We encountered a traffic jam on 192 on our way to Old-Town, we still arrived a little after 2 with our 79 T-Bird. Buzz and Sue arrived shortly after with their 2003 "Wolfwagon" as we call it. Stan and Maryann brought their Ford Escape tonight. The Pacer still isn't running right. Tom Coupe finally got his 83 Ford Pickup back after being restored and it sure was good to see him back. However, he had to leave early, he had a faulty fan belt.

Another cruiser who has not been out for awhile is Larry with his 1993 Chevy Pickup. Larry had some health problems but he seems to be fine now. Also Paul Harrold was out with his 1987 Grand National Buick and daughter Nikki was with him tonight. She has been busy in the Special Olympics. Bob B had his 05 SSR out tonight and it looked like we would have a good turn out.

Lee and Dave welcomed us in on the brick streets and we were joined by Stan, Maryann and Gerald at the Steakhouse. Ken and Audrey had their 2006 Mustang on the bricks tonight. He is still waiting for his new Jaguar. Tony had his 94 Corvette, George and George with their 86 Cutlass, Ed (Loser 1) with his 88 Corvette, Marc and Vanessa with their 2005 Corvette, Ron and his Corvette, Mike and Seth with the 92 Sonoma, Andy and Mickey with their 79 Caddy and Ed Guglich had his 83 Mustang.

We found a very colorful 1998 El Camino. Mike "Carr" has pictures of the universe painted on this beautiful cruiser, he calls it (Genesis). Mike has 8 cruisers, this car actually belongs to Diane Nash she is his fiancé and he gave this cruiser to her for a Christmas present. Oh, what a sweet story.

George was alone on block 1 tonight with his 05 Yukon. The under the stairs gang were all in place: Pablo and Nilda with their 96 Taurus, Nancy with 91 Mustang, Lori and her 06 Charger and Lynn 09 Avalanche. Gerald decided to park his 96 Ford Pickup on trophy row tonight. He was having a little problem with it tonight. The Wagner's Bob and Norma were back with their 06 Mustang. It was warmer tonight and some cruisers don't like cold weather and we can't blame them. Ramon had his 06 Mustang and Monchito had his 06 Chrysler 300 next to the bleachers where they like it.

This is Corvette weekend and we had a good many of them in our cruise tonight. Space was very limited but Allan and his crew arranged things very well. Al had his favorite spot for his 99 Corvette and his buddy Bob was with him. Jay had his beautiful 02 Corvette and Ike and Nancy were out with their 77 Corvette. They decided on block 4 to show their cruiser, They haven't been out for awhile. Also on block 4 were Jon and Angie with their 78 Pontiac, Chuck and Jade had their 81 Camaro, Kelly came in much later with her 02 Dodge Ram Pickup and Bob had his 06 PT out tonight.

Our cruiser of the month for January is Toby Buck with his 2004 PT Cruiser. As his guests he had Billy and his 2001 PT Cruiser and Bert and Laverne and their 2007 PT Cruiser.

We were talking to Barry in the tag store and he was out with his 09 PT Cruiser tonight and also enjoying what all the venders had to sell. Sean Rogers was out with his 06 Nissan. We noticed Juan came in with his 76 Mini. Felix had his 78 Scorpion and Vinny had his 05 Dakota in his regular spot. We noticed Albert and his 2001 Trans Am.

Our 50/50 was $63.00 tonight and went home with Miguel from Kissimmee. The Cruise-O-Matic was $625.00 and no takers tonight. We had 207 registered cruisers tonight.

See you all next week.
