Happy New Year---We wish you all the best for 2010. We started the new year with a lot of rain here in Clermont, we need it so we're not complaining. However we have our Friday night cruise here at our favorite town, rain, shine or snow----snow? We thank our diehard cruisers that show up regardless what the weather is, also the many spectators that drop by to enjoy our cruise. We got another gift from the weather, by the time we left for Old-Town the weather had cleared but it was a little cool.

When we arrived with our S 10 we saw that Gary had been busy, he gets things set up for the cruise early, thanks Gary for a job well done. While we were out visiting Stan came in with his 77 Pacer followed by Barry's 2009 PT Cruiser. Harry and Kris Hoxsie came in with their 2 great looking Tundra Trucks. Daughter Victoria was with them. They come from the Ft. Myer area to be with us. Lee chose Victoria to pick out the tickets at the end of the cruise.

Paul Harrold brought out his 87 Grand National Buick, the losers, Tony with his 94 Corvette and George and George with their 86 Cutlass. At 5 we were let in to find our favorite places to show our cruisers. As we roved around we found that Toby Buck was chosen to be cruiser of the month for January. He has a nice 2004 PT Cruiser. We call him the (frogman) because of the many frogs he has on his PT. Congratulations Toby. He chose Kelly, with her 2002 Dodge Ram Truck to share the honored spot with him.

The regulars were around the stage, Pablo and Nilda with their 96 Taurus, Lynn's 2009 Avalanche, Lori's 06 Charger and Ken and Sharyn Dodge with their 95 Ford truck. We had a nice chat with Ted and Bev Wozniak, they have a beautiful 81 Chrysler Imperial. Bev informed us that they just purchased a Metropolitan which will be a Saturday night cruiser. This reminded us of the one we had after we got married.

A cruiser that doesn't get out very often, Ryan Fontaine had his beautiful 89 Cadillac. Another cruiser that comes every so often is Marc with his 2005 Corvette. He plans on being here for the Corvette Show. Close to the stage on block 1 was Ryan and his black 2008 Eclipse. Faifal had his red 89 Supra. Next to the bleachers was Sean Rogers 2006 Nissan. We saw David and his 2007 Mustang. Rick who has a 2010 Camaro comes from the Tampa area. These two are brothers and this is their first time out on a Friday Night Cruise. Also on block 1 was Miguel with his 95 Acura.

A dedicated Friday and Saturday Night Cruiser is George Pennachi who brings out the 05 Yukon on Friday, Ted (our ace photographer) was out snapping pictures. His cruiser is not ready to cruise yet. Darrel had the 83 Monte Carlo out, Albert with the 2001 Trans Am. Around 8 we saw Tim Andrews come in with his 87 Olds followed by Freddyson with his 2003 S 10 Extreme Chevy Truck. We know we miss some cruisers but everyone is important to our cruise.

A few visitors were Doug, Mark, Pat and Alan and Tony that show up often. The Tropical Breeze gang were here and we had a beautiful night for a cruise.

The Cruise-O-Matic was $550.00 but no takers tonight. Our 50/50 was $30.00 and went home with Mike. We had 83 registered cruisers.

See you all next week.
