Lake Avenue was full of classic cars, 55 of them, under cloudy skies, but rain never fell during this benefit car show. Car registration fees were waived but cruisers were asked to bring donations to stock the shelves for the new no-kill animal shelter under construction in Groveland. Thanks to all the cruisers, many items were donated and additional cash was collected through monetary donations and the 50/50 raffle (over in $400 dollars in cash). This event was held in conjunction with the South Lake 4th of July Festival held on Lake Avenue, Lake David Park, Groveland.
