We parked our '67
Dodge Dart 270 on Trophy Row about 2:45, Gary had his '07 HHR
Sherrod parked by the stage Bill & Doris had their '79 T-Bird next
to him, Stan, Maryann with granddaughters Samantha & Elizabeth had
their '10 VW Jetta next in line, then Larry & Gator’s 2004 Dodge
Hemi Truck was next in line. Ray parked his '32 Ford Coupe north of
the stage, Lynn brought out her '08 Avalanche, Lori was in her '04
Expedition, Nick arrived in his '32 Ford Coupe, Jim was in his '73
Jag XKE, Tom & Bunny brought out the '66 Malibu, Dale was in his '57
Chevy Wagon, Ed & Sherry were in their '88 Corvette, Charlie & his
neighbor Kathy were in his '02 BMW Mini, George arrived in his '05
Yukon, Joe, Kathy, Paul & Kathy were in a '68 Mustang, John, April &
Grandson Michael were in their '54 Chevy, Ray joined us in his Honda
Civic, Vinny was in his '04 Dakota, Tim & brother Gill arrived in
his '87 Olds Cutlass bringing the total number of Cruiser Cars to
21. Tony & Marianne were out in their daily driver Cisco, Nely,
Sebastian & Aunt Maggie will bring a '67 Cutlass next time they come
out. Mesha was taking care of the memorabilia table for the Dukes
and Chris was taking pictures.
We paid our weekly visit to the office and merchants then met up
with Larry WA3PGL, Linda KA3BRP and Dave KF8CI for our walk to
Flippers. We had a good spectator crowd including Tony & Sue from
Tex Mex, Don, Carlene, Anna, Kim & Lindsey. Jazzmine and her Mom
came to visit on their way back to Georgia for the summer. The
weather was beautiful although we did have a handful of raindrops.
The Dukes started entertaining us at 6:00, they tried to giveaway
candy in answer to trivia questions but it was too hot for the
candy. We had our regular staff Tracy and Scotty on duty and our
volunteers Dave & Gary who was assisted by Gary Jr, Ann and David.
We missed Kelley and wish her every success in her endeavors.
We had 20 participants for the 7:30 stroll after which Steve awarded
Cruiser of the week to Cruiser #147 Nick Cortese in his '32 Ford
Coupe.
Maryann did a great job selling 50/50 tickets Dave a spectator from
Winter Haven had the winning ticket for the $65 jackpot.
Kim picked Cruiser #3 Emil Horwitz who was not out so the
Cruise-A-Matic goes up to $125 next week.

Town Merchants Association for sponsoring “The Dukes”, to Out of
This World Embroidery/Custom Tags, The Old Town General Store,
Knives & Things, Toy Time, Electronic Town, The Gold Hut,
Kandlestiks, Wound ‘N Around and Old Town Leather, to Tracy Old
Town’s Events Director who brings us the “Little Darlin’s Street
Party” event to Gary & Dave our volunteer staff and to all of the
Spectators and Cruisers with or without their cars, who come out
“Rain or Shine, Hot or Cold” to make this a great evening in our
“Home Town”.
