Get Well and Hurry Back Gary!
We did things a
little differently today Steve dropped me at the office to see Tracy
tonight Old Town was hosting the Annual Hospitality Event. I met up
with Steve on Trophy Row were he had parked our '67 Dodge Dart 270
Bill & Doris had their '79 T-Bird parked by the stage, Emil arrived
in his '48 Ford "High School Flame" and parked next to us. Linda &
Larry arrived and it was time to go to Flippers, while we were there
the heavens opened and the wind picked up, as we already had our
food it was easier to put up a line of umbrellas to shelter behind
than try to move inside the restaurant. John drove by in his '57
Chevy 210, Bobby & Melissa with a full complement of friends were in
their '08 Harley Davidson F150, Ray brought out his '32 Ford Coupe.
When we got back to Trophy Row the rain stopped, at least it cooled
everything down a little Dave had arrived Mesha & Chris would join
us later, Ken & Audrey were in their '06 Mustang, Larry & Gator
brought out their 2004 Dodge Hemi Truck, Stan & Maryann were in
their '10 VW Jetta, Lynn arrived in her '08 Avalanche and Lori had
her '04 Expedition out, Juan braved the rain in a '59 Doon Buggy,
Tom & Bunny brought out the '66 Malibu, Robert, Norma & Lori joined
us in the '06 Mustang, George arrived in his '05 Yukon, Vinny was in
his '04 Dakota, Mark and his Wife brought Lee out to join us in a
'59 Caddy, Joe, Kathy, Paul & Kathy were in the '68 Mustang and last
but not least Tim in his problematic '87 Olds Cutlass arrived
bringing the total number of cruiser cars to 19.
Gary and Ann had set up the backdrop, David joined them later. The
Dukes arrived to set up their equipment, in preparation for the
evening’s entertainment to start at 6 pm. Guests from the
Hospitality Industry started arriving keeping Tracy and her “sign
in” crew busy, they still had a check in line when we left about
8:30, Jeri was tending the bar outside the Tropical Breeze.
We had 20 participants for the 7:30 Old Town Stroll after which
Steve awarded Cruiser of the week to Cruiser #130 Bobby & Melissa
Tillman in their '08 Harley Davidson F150.
Maryann did a great job selling 50/50 tickets Elizabeth a spectator
from Orlando had the winning ticket for the $37 jackpot.
Kim drew Cruiser #84 Butch & Stephanie Tengelin who were not out so
the Cruise-A-Matic goes up to $50 next week.
Thank You to Old Town for inviting us out every week, to the Old
Town Merchants Association for sponsoring “The Dukes”, to Out of

“Rain or Shine, Hot or Cold” to make this a great evening in our
“Home Town”.
A special Thank You to everyone who braved the rain and came out
tonight we were getting reports of bad weather all around us but
fortunately it passed us early.
See you all Next
