It was hard to tell if it was colder than last week or just windy and by
the Dukes started their first set it did not look as though we were
going to have many spectators. They must have been keeping warm in the
stores because once they heard the Dukes there was suddenly spectators
and dancers. Our friends from Holland came for their last visit to Old
Town before returning home. We set up the 50/50 table and Bunny had
steady sales, the Dukes even sang an extra couple of songs because she
had a line when they were due to finish their set.
Steve awarded Cruiser of the week to Cruiser #70 Maryann & Stan Mull
with their '80 Eagle. Bunny did a great job selling 50/50 tickets and
Cruiser #132 Morris Rausch had the winning ticket for the $58 jackpot.
Cruiser #178 David Meal was not out so the Cruise-A-Matic goes up to
$150 next week. The case of oil donated by Valvoline went home with
Cruiser #93 Glen Sturgeon in his '65 VW.
