It was a cool rainy morning in Clermont and it got colder as the day wore on. At the time we usually leave for Old-Town it was still cold and wet but as you all know we have our Friday cruise, rain or shine--hot or cold. We did not want to take a wet car cover off the T-Bird so we brought our S 10 pickup. We knew at least the die hards would be there--- and they were.

Bill Hunter was here when we arrived. He had some more marine graphics put on his truck doors. It really looks good. Stan arrived a little later with his 77 Pacer. Maryann stayed home today. She has another operation to go through. We are praying for you Maryann.

Barry made it out with his 2009 PT Cruiser. The cruisers were very slow coming in tonight as the rain kept falling but Dave and Lee stayed at their post and patiently waiting for the rest of the dedicated cruisers. This week was our week to have the toy collection that Old-Town has every year. Dave and Steve, two of our favorite elves, took care of that and collected quite a few for a cold and rainy night. Ken and Audrey came out to deliver their toys but went back home. Thanks to all that contributed.

Bert was out with his "Elvis" PT Cruiser, no Laverne, they always contribute a lot of toys, Pep even made it out tonight. He and Nancy had their 1992 Mustang. Pablo and Nilda were also their with their 1996 Taurus. A couple of lady cruisers, Lynn with her 09 Avalanche and Lori with her 03 Charger. We are proud of all our lady cruisers. Most of them are Friday night dancers also. They found a dry spot under the eave tonight. The T-Birds (one of our favorite bands), were on stage and played to a small crowd just as if they had a full house.

A few other die hards were: Sean Rogers had his 06 Nissan and also on block 1 we found Bobby Sanders with his 95 Chevy and Manny Hishmeh from Davenport had his 02 Chevy Cavalier. He has been cruising about a year. George Pennachi was out with his Yukon. As usual he had it decorated up for the Christmas Holiday. Freddyson had his 03 S 10 and David had the 05 Neon. There was another yellow truck which we did not see the owner.

Our cruiser of the month for December is Gary Collins. He has a 2007 HHR. He deserves it. He is always faithful and does a lot for the cruises. Congratulations, Gary. Thanks Allan for the way you handled a small cruise. We think everyone was pleased with it. We had only 21 cruisers but this is the dedication that make things work. We appreciate and thank everyone of you. We also thank all the merchants that sponsor our cruise and donate the prizes.

No 50/50 or Cruise-o-Matic tonight. We did not go back to the stage after the cruise.
