Testing 1

It was a cold windy day for our cruise tonight, at least for us Floridians. We did get through the evening with no rain but it did threaten a couple of times. We arrived early as usual but soon after Doug came in with his very large truck, a 2007 C 4500 Duramax Diesel Chevy. He comes over from Melbourne to cruise with us. Al brought out his 1999 Corvette and Bob came but was not enjoying the weather. Al has had some more things done on his cruiser but did not mention what it was and has more he wants to do. Cruisers do change different things on these cruisers from time to time.

Paul Harrold came out with his 1987 Grand National Buick early. Nikki did not come with him tonight. She got a puppy and needed to spend some time with it. He went home before they left us in, he didn't like the looks of the weather. Ramon arrived with his 2006 Mustang and had his grandson Joshua with him. He and a few others did not stay to cruise the brick street. Stan came out to eat at the Steakhouse with us. Maryann stayed home and is recuperating from her surgery she had this week.

Sean Rogers was cruising his 2006 Nissan. George Pennachi came in a little later with his 2005 Yukon. He had it all decorated for the Christmas Holiday.
On block 3 we saw Jay and his 2002 yellow Corvette and this cruiser gets a lot of attention. We had our S 10 and Bob B had his 2005 SSR. Mike and Stephanie had their 1992 Sonoma truck. George and George had the 86 Cutlass and Tony had the 94 Corvette.

Toby (the frogman) and his 2004 PT Cruiser was in his favorite place on block 4. His buddy Ralph had his 01 PT out. Kelly made it out tonight with her 2002 Dodge Ram and Eric had his PT.

Close Quarters was the band entertaining tonight. A lot of the regulars were not out tonight but Pat and Alan (our dancers) were here. Some of the Tropical Breeze gang made it out. We saw Don, Carlene and Kim. Margaret, (a Wednesday night spectator) was here. Our ace photographer, (Ted) was out snapping pictures. Laura and her 98 firebird made it out tonight.

Ken and Audrey were next to the stage with their 2006 Mustang. Alfonso was next to the bleachers with his beautiful 1986 Cadillac. We got to talk to Eddie Inman and his wife Chelica who brought out their 2005 Chevy Colorado. They have been cruising on Friday around 6 months.

Vinny was here with his 2005 Dakota. He is always zipping around visiting his many friends he has made over the years. We saw Darrel Jones and his 1983 Monte Carlo. Ken was out with his 1976 International Truck. His friend Charlie was with him. We also saw Freddyson and his 2003 S 10 Extreme truck.

Felix had that cute red 1978 Scorpion in his favorite spot. His friend Cecil had his 1985 Chevy Silverado with him tonight.

Our cruiser of the month for December in Gary Collins. He has a 2007 HHR. You can always see Gary riding around in a golf cart, taking care of the many things during the cruise. He is a dedicated cruiser. His wife Cathy comes out when she can. They are also Saturday night cruisers.

Our Cruise-O-Matic was $475.00 but no takers tonight. The 50/50 was $25.00 and Jim Clark had the winning ticket. Congratulations Jim. We had 72 registered cruisers tonight.

See you all next week.
