We chose our 79 T-Bird to
cruise tonight. Bill Hunter with his patriotic Ford truck was back after a few
weeks off. Some cruisers we haven't seen in a couple of years, CJ and Candi were
back with us tonight. He is driving a Chevy Cobalt LT now. Al with his 1999
Corvette had his friend Bob with him tonight. Stan and Maryann with their 77
Pacer and Jay with his snazzy Corvette were early tonight, also Ramon with his
2006 Mustang and had his grandson Joshua with him. Harry and Kris brought out
their 2 Tundras tonight, also daughter Victoria.
We have a very special person in our family of Friday night cruisers, Paul
Harrold, comes out every Friday he can to cruise his Grand National Buick but
his daughter Nikki is our special one. Nikki is a fine young woman who loves to
come out and enjoy Old-Town. She is also very much involved in our special
Olympics, she competes in many of their events and does very well. Nikki has won
gold medals in swimming, bowling and golf. She has amassed over 65 medals in
all. Congratulations Nikki, we love you.
A few cruisers that were just visiting tonight were Tom and Bunny and Dennis,
Linda and Devon. Alan and Pat were there with all the line dancers that were
enjoying the music of Eddie and the Cruizers.
We had a long chat with a friendly couple from Kingston, Ontario Canada. Dave
and Judy were here 10 years ago, they are now on a 5 week tour of the United
States and remembered Old-Town and had to make it one of their stops. Our
cruises are well known all over. He is a car buff and has restored many and
enjoys going to cruises where he lives. He showed us pictures of a pickup that
he just finished. Very nice. Thanks for stopping by Old-Town.
The PT Cruisers, Toby, Ralph and Billy were up on block along with Paul, Bill,
and Dave with his HHR. Kelly and the Wolfman were missing tonight, but Jon,
Angie, Chuck and Jade were there also. Billy chose to cruise his HHR tonight.
Felix had his little Scorpion back in the cruise tonight. We were glad to see
it. We also saw Andy and Mickey with their beautiful 79 Cadillac. Mike had his
red and black 1990 Corvette on the bricks. A few other regulars were Mike and
Stephanie with their 1992 GMC Sonoma and their son Seth, Yolando with her 2006
PT, Monchito 2006 Chrysler and of course our ace photographer Ted, who was
snapping great pictures for Steve. Our friend Bob B with his SSR had his brother
Elmer with him again. We are glad to see these cruisers bring their friends and
relatives out to visit Old-Town.
Our Cruiser of the month for November is Glenn and Stephanie Winston with their
beautiful 2007 Mustang Shelby GT. He chose two of his friends to park with him.
Bill a regular cruiser with his 1979 Olds Hurst and we did not get the other
cruisers name.
Bob and Norma had their 2006 Mustang and Ken and Audrey with their 2006 Mustang.
We saw George and George who had their Olds and Tony and his Corvette. Chris had
his Pontiac, George Pennachi and his Yukon and there were many of the new
cruisers and a lot of them don't come in until 8 or later. Every cruiser is
important and has something to contribute to the cruise.
Remember Cruisers, you must pull in to park your cruiser after we cruise up the
brick street. Some of you did not remember this. Our 50/50 was $54.00 and went
home with Kris from Ft. Myers. Now, how about these odds, Kris comes out only
once a month and his won the 50/50 on her last 3 trips. Congratulations Kris.
Try to make it 4. Our Cruise-O-Matic was $ 350.00, no takers tonight. Thanks to
Allan and his great crew, Old-Town and all involved for another safe and happy
cruise for our 211 cruisers. Very good turnout tonight.
See you all next week.
