More than 80 cars would come out to play tonight, even a '62
Nova convertible would make it's debut outing and Steve Mc was still
grinnin'.
We arrived at 3:45,
James was already in the parking lot with his
'67 Firebird, Greg had his
Mustang next to him. Josh, KI4UCB stopped by on his way home.
"Mustang Mike" and
Emma would situate the DJ rig in it's spot, he noticed that the
trees were really dropping their seeds and the pollen was very heavy
along our parking area. Richard F would be the next to arrive
in his '31 Ford Roadster, that had once belonged to
Art Grindle, a former Florida
state legislator. Ron A would next arrive in his
502 Powered, '61 Caddy. Paul
would bring out his "Toy Truck", Mr. Mopar is still wearing that Bow
Tie, hmmm? "Cousin John" would bring his Caddy out, Anthony, Mike's
neighbor brought out his '66 Impala for the first time. Dave would
be out in the
'63 Avanti, Jo Ellen would join him later. Jean would
park her award winning
'36 Ford
next to Paul. Tony & Marianne would be out in their
SS454 Monte Carlo, Steve Mc,
K4SKM would bring out his
'64 Corvair and park next to Richard. Bob
would arrive in his SSR and take the last spot to the South of
James. Serrano would bring his '53 Caddy out and park across from
him. "Lucky Louie" would park his
'50 Ford next to Tony. Dick
would be out in his
2+2 about the time I spotted Bill "The
Photographer". Don R would bring out his
"Eleanor" '68 Mustang,
Don M would be in his '64 Corvair, Dan Z would start the row in the
"Front Line" with his '62 Chevy 409. Jim & Shirley would park the Jeepster next to our
"67 Dodge Dart"
but would move it later because of the tree. Brian was out in his
'66 Malibu, Lisa & Quintino joined him later, he sure is growing and
starting to remember everyone. Graham,
G4HFG from Oldham, England checked in to see who was
out as did
Ed, WB8BHL and
Tony. K4AVD,
still living in Wisconsin.
While Linda & I
were at the Sonic, Chuck and Linda arrived in their Corvettes. Steve
& Carolyn would be out in their
'71 440
Barracuda. John R would park his
Mustang next to Steve Mc. Chuck
and Libby along with his mother Mary would have the
'57 Chevy in "Hot Rod Row". Tom
& Edna would bring out a '67 Mustang convertible and park just south
of the "Scott Rod" and the "Wild Thing". Ed & Sara would make it back
to a Cruise-In with their '71 Chevy pick up, good to see them back
in town. Ron H would bring out his
'30 Model A Tudor, Rich had his
El Camino across from Chuck. Even the "Wookie" would make it back in
his "Heart Breaker" Mustang. John & Sandy would park next to the
Barracuda with the
'53 Merc. Larry and Karen would join
them a little later in
"ITZA 40". Neil &
Elaine would bring out the "Roller". Dave, Esther and Mesha would be
out in the
'83 Grand Marquis and park it next to Lenn's Maverick. The
Place was filling up. Mike was playing requests and many of our
regular spectators were making their way out.
Steve & Donna would
then park the
'68GTX in it's place of honor about the time we made
it back from the Sonic. Bob's
'68 SS396 Chevelle, Bill's
Vega and Mike & Linda's
SS454
Malibu would now be in the "Front Line". Then I saw
it, "Remember When" was back out, Gary & Wanda got it going just
this last week, a little bare wire near the distributer. Good to see
them and the car out. Steve, Charlie & Marie would have the
'77 deVille in the lot tonight.
Tom & Diane would make it out on this beautiful evening in their
Model A pickup. Roger F would have his latest car out, a great
looking '62 Chevy II Nova with all of the SS trim. Renee would head
over to shop for the prizes. Al would take the spot vacated by the
Jeepster for his
Model A.
Roy would make it
out in the Infiniti, "Cousin Vinny" would be zipping around. John &
Mary B would be out in the
"Slick
51". Larry R, still without a car would be with
us as would his buddies. Phillip & Francis would be out in the '86
Z-28, Pat & Alan along with Barbara and the "Kids", were in the gathering in front of the DJ rig and
"Cigar" Bob was helping out in the trailer. The Newlyweds,
Allan & Nicole would make it out in their
Tundra just before Hank
less the BAJA bug and George in his
"Heirloom Falcon"
would arrive.
"Mustang" Mike,
wanted to remind everyone about the Sunday Cracker House Show on the
22nd of March it will now be from 3:00 to 7:00.
Ron Adamson,
Cruiser # 725, had the winning ticket for the 50/50 of $115, he
donated $10 back to the Cruise-In, Thank You!

The “Mustang” Mike, “Embroidery by Renee”, Cruiser of the Week award
went home with "Cousin Vinny" Carlo, Cruiser #208 with his '04 Dakota
