story

We headed out in our "67 Dodge Dart" for the Sonic and arrived in the parking lot just after 4:00. The Bank cars where all out of the way. Bob was the next one to arrive and he backed his SSR in to his favorite spot. "Mustang Mike" and Emma would bring out the DJ Rig and park it in it's spot. The bright Sunlit Blue Sky was very deceptive, it was only about 46 degrees. Jean would take a spot under the big shade tree for her '36 Ford. Ron A backed his 502, '61 Caddy in to his favorite spot. Don R would take the spot behind the DJ rig for his "Eleanor" '68 Mustang, Bill would bring out his pickup, leaving the Parisienne at home. Graham, G4HFG from Oldham, England would check in as would Ed, WB8BHL. James would park next to Bob with his '67 Firebird, Bill the "Photographer" made it out. Paul did a drive through in his daily driver at 5:00, about this time Jean would leave. Philip would bring his Z-28 out, the couple from Wisconsin that came out last week made a drive by. Dave & Nancy brought out the '55 T-Bird with it's new interior. John R would bring his Mustang out for the first time since he got back to the states. Nick came out in his '32 Coupe, Dick would have his 2+2 parked where he likes it. Jackie stopped by to see if the Cruise was going to go on. Mike would bring his SS454 Malibu to the lot.

Mike called the Cruise-In and left about 5:45, we left at 6:00 and as we were pulling out Larry was turning in to the lot with "ITZA 40".

Back into the Freezer for tonight, stay warm and think Florida thoughts.

“Cruise-A-Matic" remains is $125.

2 Weeks ago, Larry Cole took home the “Mustang” Mike, “Embroidery by Renee”, Cruiser of the Week award in his ‘49 Ford Tudor.
