We arrived at
4:05 in our '67 Dodge Dart,
a little while later Mike & Emma would arrive with the DJ rig, Fred
stopped by on his way to get his '61 Corvair. We decided the rain
was done for the day. Jim & Shirley arrived in their '62 F-85 and
parked next to us. Jean would arrive in her
'36 Ford, "Ranger" Roger would back his
'59 Edsel in a spot across from the DJ
rig. Dick would place his
2+2 behind Roger's Edsel, Ron A would take
his favorite spot for his
502, '61 Caddy. Nicky "Bop"
would be out in his Corvette and park between them. Paul would be in
his "Toy Truck". Bill the "Photographer" would be
out shooting all the cars. Lenn was setting up his Mini car show on
a table in front of his Maverick. He also donated a Model for the
drawing. Chuck & Linda had their
'78 & '79 Corvettes in their place
of honor. Doc would bring out in the
"Tater Truck" Suzanne would join him later.
Bill would have his '81 Blazer tonight. Ron H brought out his
'30
Model A Tudor, later Al would park his
Model A next to him. Bob would be out in
his
'68 SS396 Chevelle, Nick & Fran
in the
'32 Ford coupe and Bill with
his Vega were on the "Front Line". "Bo" would bring out his '64 Corvair, John R would park next to him in his
Mustang. Bert and "Ernie" were in the
'66 Comet wagon. Bill
arrived in his
'63 Parisienne, Roy F would bring out the Infiniti, Larry & Karen were out in
"ITZA 40".
John, Sandy & Dawn brought out the
Bumble Bee Merc. I saw Jeff &
Tara walking around but they didn't have a car out, nor did James, I
guess his Firebird was cold or something. Pat & Alan joined in with
us tonight as did Ryan, Pepper and Will. Larry R, still with out a
car, was amongst us, Danny joined him later. I even saw "Big John"
walk through the lot.
The weather was
turning towards Winter by nights end.
Even Hank, less the Baja Bug would make it before "Cousin Vinny"
or George in his
'61 Falcon. Then just before the drawing I spotted
Mark in his '62 Impala. Get well "Cigar Bob" we all miss having you
out with us. Thank You to Renee for the prize shopping. Larry R was
given his very own Cruiser tonight, you know, we hate to see him
with out a car so Linda & I gave him the Model that we had won.
The 50/50 of $57
was taken home by George Crofut, he donated some of it to this
newsletter, Thank You.
The “Cruise-A-Matic"
rolls over to $150, Cruiser Number 634, Ed DeFillippo wasn't out
tonight. AWWWWWWWWWWWWW
John Robinson,
Cruiser #663 took home the
“Mustang” Mike, “Embroidery by Renee”, Cruiser of the Week award
in his '65 Mustang Convertible.
