We arrived on
Trophy Row about 2:30 in our '67 Dodge Dart 270, Gary had his '07
HHR Sherrod parked by the stage, Dave arrived in his '83 Grand
Marquis then Bill & Doris in their '79 T-Bird. We headed to Flippers
John took care of us, Tommy arrived to set up his keyboard, Larry &
Gator drove by in their '93 Chevy Pick Up so did Mike, Stephanie &
Seth in their '92 Sonoma.
When we got back to Trophy Row Tom & Bunny arrived in her Hotrod a
'68 Fairlane, Ray parked his '32 Ford Coupe north of the stage, Doug
arrived his El Camino is ready but he did not go to pick it up
because it was “storming” but by the time he arrived at Old Town the
storm was moving away and the sun was returning. Bob in his '68
SS396 Chevelle with Nick & Fran in their '32 Ford Coupe parked next
to Ray. I had received a phone call to say the family were on their
way so I was keeping a “look out” for them when Jeff & Jackie parked
their '85 Vette, Laura in her '98 Firebird, Fred & Betty in their
'64 1/2 Mustang. The family arrived as Rosemary & Dan turned onto
Trophy Row and parked her 2000 Mustang Convertible, Tony & Donna
were in their '65 Mustang, Ken & Wanda brought out the '78 "Indy
Pace Car" Corvette, Butch parked his '83 El Camino, Pete & Mary
arrived in their 2005 PT Cruiser making the total number of cruiser
cars to 18.
“The Blue Suede Review” with Sonny standing in for Shawn as lead
guitar, Tommy on the keyboard, Jimi on the drums and Paul on bass
guitar were set up and ready to play. Bill & Karen had the
memorabilia table set up, Dwight & Vicky had arrived, the spectator
crowd was growing, Mike Singer KJ4GNI was at the controls of the
“Blue Room”, Gary & Dave, Tracy and Scotty were kept busy all
evening, Radio Check Ins included Graham G4HFG, Emil KJ4GNH, Tony
K4AVD. Bunny set up the table for 50/50 tickets, the family went to
find food and we got to keep 4 month old Sean, he was sociable with
everyone and fell asleep during Dwight’s first set.
After the first set Steve awarded Cruiser of the week to Cruiser #16

Steve had lots of help drawing the 50/50 tickets grandchildren
Caitie, Conner and Sara were supervised by Laura and Dave, Coy a
regular spectator had the winning ticket for the $75 jackpot.
Cruiser #99 Ron & Rose Simmons were not out so the Cruise-A-Matic
goes up to $75 next week.

Shine, Hot or Cold” to make this a great evening in our “Home Town”.
