We arrived early
2:50 or so we thought but Wolfman & Sue already had the '03 F150 "Wolfwagon"
parked by Gary’s
'07 HHR Sherod south of the
stage, we parked our
'67 Dodge Dart 270 opposite
them and headed off to do prize shopping for the 50/50. Tom & Bunny
parked their '66 Malibu
next to us and headed for Flippers were we joined them.
Bill & Doris arrived in
their
79 T-Bird, Ray in his
'32 Ford Coupe and Mike & Carol
in their
'74 Dodge Dart.
Because we were early the dinner time arrivals seemed less than
usual Oscar in his '93 Ford Taurus SHO, John in his
'57 Chevy 210
and
Dave
in his '83 Grand Marquis was met by Esther & Mesha in the
daily driver. Back on Trophy Row, Bob arrived in his
'68 SS396 Chevelle, Nick & Fran
in their
'32 Ford Coupe, Steve & Carol stopped by for a short visit
in the daily driver on their way home. Sam is back from England and
brought his '32 Beauford to it’s first cruise this visit. Sue &

Radio Check Ins included
Graham, G4HFG, Emil,KJ4GNH,
Tony, K4AVD,
Scotty was on duty, Arne was at his post, Tracy was busy, the Blue
Suede Review with Tommy on the keyboard tonight were set up, Mike
Singer, KJ4GNI was in the Blue Room, Karen and Bill arrived and
Dwight entertained us with his first set of the evening.
At the end of the first set, Karen made
Dwight stay on stage while
she made an announcement, congratulating Dwight on his recent
marriage to Vicky who was then introduced to everyone. They might
have thought that getting married in Las Vegas, would escape some of
the customary traditions but they underestimated their Old Town fans
and extended family, a bouquet was produced for Vicky to throw to
the “maids” and Dwight had to retrieve a garter and throw it to the
“bachelors”. After duly embarrassing them they were escorted back to
the dressing room to be rewarded with a wedding cake.
Then back to business, Steve, K4SLB and Mike, KJ4GNI would take the
stage, the
Cruiser of the week was awarded to Cruiser
#147, Nick & Francine Cortese in their '32 Ford Coupe.
Bunny did a great
job selling 50/50 tickets, Bob & Dave would help during the
pre-drawing rush. Dave would then join Steve & Mike on stage. Harold
a spectator from Michigan had the winning ticket for the $152
jackpot. Thank You to "Tropical Breeze" for the $25 gift certificate
for the drawing.
The $100 Cruise-A-Matic would have gone home with cruiser #197 Stan
Wlosek who was not out tonight so it goes up to $125 next week.
Thank You to Old Town for inviting us out every week,
to the Old Town Merchants association for sponsoring "A Tribute to the King",
to
Tracy Old Town's events director
that brought us the "Rock at the Clock" event and to
Gary &
Dave our own

the time that they do and to all of the Cruisers that are starting to
come out on a Wednesday Nite. Come on out, "Rain or Shine!" Cruisers, if
you don't want to bring out the car because of the weather come on out
