Testing 1

WE stayed a little closer to home tonight, we cruised over to Chick-fil-a with our 87 S 10. We arrived around 4 o'clock, just a few minutes before Jen arrived with her studio B. She began setting up for our entertainment for tonight. Dusty came in with his 2008 Mustang. He has made quite a few improvements on it since the last time we saw it. Bob and Fran, a little later came in with their 1977 Volkswagen Bus. After a short chat we registered with Jen and headed for Chick-fil-a for our free chicken sandwich, every cruiser gets one.

Dave had his dragster, he is a regular cruiser here at Chick-fil-a. Also Dave and Denise had a great looking 1927 Chevy. A couple of older ones was Fred with his 1965 Chevy, George with his 62 Studebaker Hawk, a 1966 Honda owned by Bill, a 67 Bel Air owned by Joe and a beautiful white 60 Vette belonging to Phil. Larry stopped by for a visit and took over while Jen sold 50/50 tickets.

We had at least 2 more Corvettes, one 79 that we did not talk to the owner and a 2002 owned by Joe and Jewel. We had 2 Camaros, a 1995 owned by Scott and Don had his 70 and a half Camaro out. A few others we saw were Brian with his 1979 MGB, John with his 1980 El Camino and a 1971 Chevy owned by Kay.

Tonight was the night Jen was collecting for Toys For Tots. We had a good collection for a small cruise. Also our 50/50 was $50.00 and the winner, no. 990874 graciously donated his half back to Toys For Tots. We did not get his name but we do thank him. With the 50/50 and cash donations we totaled $235.00 for the cause. We had 21 registered cruisers.

We are sorry to announce that this was the last cruise in at Chick-fil-a. We want to thank every cruiser who showed up over the past 2 years, also thanks to Rocky, Jen, Larry and all the rest at Chick-fil-a for the memories. We hope to see you all at the different cruises that we attend.

Merry Christmas to you all and have a Happy and safe New Year.
