Another rainy Friday night, but that didn't dampen the spirits of our Friday night cruisers. By 5 o'clock we had a full line of early birds waiting to get on the streets of Old-Town. This show goes on rain or shine every Friday night. Bill Hunter with his new 2010 Ford pickup was ahead of us by a few minutes. Stan with his 1977 Pacer joined us a little later. Jay with his 2002 Corvette, Larry and Gator with their 1993 Chevy truck and Bob B with his 2005 SSR just to name a few. Al came in with his 1999 Corvette and was later than usual on account of the rain.

We got parked after 5 and the rain came but we headed for the Steakhouse with Stan and Doug. When we came out we had 4 PT Cruisers on block one. Billie with his 2001, Toby had his 2004, Ralph had his 2001 and our latest cruiser Bob with his 2006. All the losers were around and near the stage which include Tony (loser 2) had his 1994 Corvette, George (loser 3) and George (loser 3 1/2) with their 1986 Cutlass, Ken and Audrey had their 2006 Mustang and also by the stage in their favorite spot were Bob and Norma with their 2006 Mustang. Also there were a few more cruisers we did not get to talk to.

Tim and Amanda Messer were parked near us with their 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee and had their 2 children Landan and Taylor with them. Also parked beside them were Alexis and Rosavra Negron from Orlando with their 1988 Suzuki. They have cruised with us several times.

We met a nice young couple cruising with us for the first time, Amber and Rick Hart who resides in Ocoee and have a 1986 Cadillac Hearst. This beautiful cruiser is maroon and white. It has only 64,000 miles on it.

Nancy, Lynn, Lori, Carlene and Nilda, our lady cruisers are also our Old-Town dancers. These ladies are diehard dancers. Rain did not stop them and they were truly (dancing in the rain). Pep and Pablo were out also.

Rafael from Poinciana has been cruising about a year, he was showing his 2001 Mustang Cobra Convertible. This car has 42,000 on it. Two other regular Friday cruisers were Tim with his 1987 Olds Cutlass and Mike with his 1992 GMC Sonoma. Ted was out snapping pictures but his cruiser had a flat tire. We will still have some very good pictures.

Vinny is our Cruiser of the Month for August. He has a 2005 Dodge Dakota. You might see Vinny any where or any time cruising around in his electric scooter. He is a dedicated cruiser.

Our band tonight is (Close Quarter), they have been here before but not for a couple of years. This is a very good band and we enjoyed them very much. Thanks Tracy for getting us good entertainment. It was a rainy night but you can have fun even in the rain. We did.

No 50/50 tonight. It was a small crowd. Our Cruise-O-Matic was $50.00 but no takers tonight. We had 67 brave cruisers that registered tonight. Thank you all.
