Superstitious???? This
is the second month in a row that we had a Friday the 13th. It doesn't
bother us a one bit, we know it is just another day and a beautiful one
for our cruise. We brought our T-Bird again tonight, Bill Hunter with
his beautiful patriotic truck followed us in and then Stan with his blue
Pacer and the rest of the early birds lined up for another Friday night
cruise. Bob Butler with his great looking 2005 SSR got his regular spot
by the arcade. Allan our newly wed greeted us, then Lee, Dave and Gary
let us in to find our favorite spot for the night. We dined on the
Steakhouse's special with Stan, Maryann had to work again. Then we went
out to enjoy Old-Town and meet many old friends and to some new ones.
Gerald (Mr. Pontiac) was back on block 4, Jon and Angie with their
formula came in around 7 o'clock. Toby ( the frogcar) and Ralph with
their PT Cruisers, then we met Carol Cleek with her 2002 PT Cruiser
The spectator crowd was growing fast and many teenagers were present.
Old-Town has something for all ages and most love the old cars. Ken and
Audrey, George and George and Tony (the loser) found their spots on the
brick street. Anibel came all the way from Brandon to show his beautiful
1979 caprice. Pablo and Nilda with their Taurus were parked across from
the stage beside Bert and Laverne with their PT Cruiser. The
Dodge's with their 1995 Ford truck. Linda and Chuck were in their spots
with their great pair of Corvettes.
Harry, Chris and daughter Victoria were out with their 2007 Toyota
Tundra. Chris had another weekend off and they came up to Old-Town for a
mini vacation and to cruise with us. Our ace photographer (Ted) with his
2006 Nissan was with us tonight and taking many great pictures of our
cruise. Remember you can catch all these pictures on the www.sbcno.com
website. Andy and Mickey had their Caddy out tonight along with Ed with
his 1983 Mustang.
Our biker friends, George and Ursula, were visiting tonight and also had
their friend Allan with them. We are always glad to meet these two. Our
home town neighbors from down the street were back visiting again
tonight, Tim and Sandy like Old-Town and the old cars. Maybe we can talk
them into buying a cruiser and cruise with us?
Some of our regular cruising friends were here, Karen from Sebring with
her 2007 Mitsubishi, Albert with his fine 2001 Trans Am Pontiac, Jay on
the brick street with his 2002 Corvette, Dennis and his uncle had his
1986 Monte Carlo and his lovely wife joined him later. Cecil and his
1985 Red Chevy Silverado Truck and Bill with his 1979 Hurst Olds. The
under the stairs gang were in place. Nancy, Lynn, Pat, Alan and Lori and
all the rest were enjoying the entertainment. We had 205 registered
cruisers tonight and our great staff did a fine job.
Allan and Nikki, we wish you the best on your new adventure, good luck
and may God bless you.
Our 50/50 was $76.00 tonight. The Cruise-O-Matic was $150.00 but Dave
pulled 4 numbers and could not give it away.
See you next week.
