We arrived on
Trophy Row a little later than usual in our '67 Dodge Dart 270, Gary
had his '07 HHR Sherrod parked by the stage, Bill & Doris had their
'79 T-Bird parked next to him, Dave arrived in the '83 Grand Marquis
Esther, Mesha & Asa joined him later. We headed to Flippers were
John took care of us and Trish came to say Hi, Tommy drove by to set
up his keyboard, Larry & Stephanie brought out the '93 Chevy Pick
Up, Charlie was in his '02 BMW Mini, Tom & Bunny parked their '66
Malibu then joined us, David & Janet drove by in their '67 Plymouth
Satellite.
When we got back to Trophy Row Wolfman & Sue arrived in their '03
F150 "Wolfwagon", Rosemary & Dan were in her 2000 Mustang
Convertible, Bob brought out his '68 SS396 Chevelle followed by Nick
in his '32 Ford Coupe, Ray parked by them in his '32 Ford Coupe. I
think the '64 Fairlane was brought out by Richard, Lelia, & Friends,
Steve & Amanda were in their '56 Chevy 210, Laura was in her '98
Firebird and last but not least Miguel in his '68 Fairlane brought
the number of cruiser cars to 17 a surprisingly good turnout in the
rain that started at 6:30 and spent the evening with us.
The spectator crowd was light but included “Jazzmine (who is
celebrating her 11th birthday on Friday, Happy Birthday) and The
Tropical Breeze Group”. Coy & Jan, Mary & Larry caregivers for
Charles came over to say “Hi”, “The Blue Suede Review” with Shawn as
lead guitar, Tommy on the keyboard, Keith standing in for Jimi on
the drums and Paul on bass guitar were set up. Mike Singer KJ4GNI
was at the controls of the “Blue Room”, Radio Check Ins included
Mike G1KOT on vacation from the UK, Graham G4HFG, Emil KJ4GNH, Tony
K4AVD.
Bunny had started selling 50/50 tickets but had to stop because of
the rain, no Cruiser of the Week was awarded and the Cruise-A-Matic
will stay at $50 for next week.
Dwight arrived but was not able to get on stage because of the
amount of lightening in the immediate area until 8:30 and then for
only one set.
Thank You to Old Town for inviting us out every week, to the Old
Town Merchants Association for sponsoring “A Tribute to the King”,
to Out of This World Embroidery/Custom Tags, The Old Town General
Store, Knives & Things, Toy Time, Electronic Town, The Gold Hut,
Kandlestiks, Wound ‘N Around and Old Town Leather, to Tracy Old
Town’s Events Director who brings us the “Rock at the Clock” event
to Gary & Dave our volunteer TCB guy’s and to all of the Spectators
and Cruisers with or without their cars, who come out “Rain or
Shine, Hot or Cold” to make this a great evening in our “Home Town”.

August 5th:
Weather permitting the drawings will take place about 7:45 after
Dwight’s first set and we will cruise up the bricks after his second
set at 8:30.
