story

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon when we parked our '67 Dodge Dart 270 on Trophy Row just about 3 pm. Gary had his '07 HHR Sherrod parked by the stage and was beavering about taking care of the “set up” with Mesha’s assistance. Bill & Doris arrived in their '79 T-Bird, Dave arrived in his '83 Grand Marquis Esther & Asa would join him in a little while, Larry parked his '93 Chevy Pick Up, Gator was on her way. We took care of a couple of errands before heading to Flippers were John took care of us, Allan & Scotty were busily zipping about. Tommy arrived to set up his keyboard, Tom & Bunny joined us after they parked their '66 Malibu on Trophy Row, Ray drove by in his '32 Ford Coupe.

When we got back to the car daughter Shannon, Grandson Marcus and Granddaughter Alexis were waiting for us and Mike was parking his '92 Sonoma, Wolfman & Sue arrived in their '03 F150 "Wolfwagon", Ted arrived in his daily driver, Juan was in his '66 VW Notchback, Jeff in his '85 Vette and Miguel in his '68 Fairlane. Tony & Marsha arrived in her '73 Datsun 240Z followed by James in his '67 Galaxie, Steve & Amanda arrived with daughter Heather and her friend Kayla, after parking their '56 Chevy 210 they headed off to meet their son John and his fiancé Amanda. Old Town's '57 Belair had been shined up to lead the cruise tonight Ted had the privilege of driving it followed by 24 cruiser cars, a nice turn out for a weeknight.

Dwight announced that he had won a contest in Omaha over the weekend.

After the first set Steve awarded Cruiser of the week to Cruiser # 110 Mike Ferraiolo with his '92 Sonoma.
