We arrived on
Trophy Row just after 2:00 pm in our '67 Dodge Dart 270 Gary already
had his '07 HHR Sherrod parked by the stage. Bill & Doris parked
their '79 T-Bird next to Gary then Wolfman & Sue arrived in their
'03 F150 "Wolfwagon". We headed to Flippers a little early to wait
for Tom & Bunny to arrive in their '66 Malibu, Tiana took care of us
and we had a leisurely meal before heading back to Trophy Row.
Bob arrived in his '68 SS396 Chevelle followed by Nick & Fran in
their '32 Ford Coupe, Ray brought out his '32 Ford Coupe, Steve &
Amanda joined us in their '56 Chevy 210, Mike escaped from work in
Annette’s '06 BMW Mini, Charlie and his neighbor Kathy came out in
his '02 BMW Mini, Kent & Hayley brought out his '53 Chevy Pick Up,
Doug was in his daily driver, Bob arrived in his '40 Buick Coupe,
Jerry & Judi were in their '86 Fiero GT, Joe, Tammy & Jeffrey had to
bring their daily driver out so their friends could come with them
to enjoy the show, Laura was in her '98 Firebird, Bert, Ernie,
Mitchell & his Granma arrived in their "Elvis Tribute" PT Cruiser
bringing the total cruiser cars to 16.
The spectator crowd included “Jazzmine and The Tropical Breeze
Group”, Coy, Bonnie & Debbie, Charles was out with his caregivers
Mary & Larry. “The Blue Suede Review” with Shawn as lead guitar,
Tommy on the keyboard, Jimi on the drums and Paul on bass guitar
were set up and ready to start the show. Dwight & Vicky arrived,
Bill & Karen were a little late but made it in time to get the
memorabilia table set up. Mike Singer KJ4GNI was at the controls of
the “Blue Room”, Gary, Tracy and Scotty were kept busy all evening,
Radio Check Ins included Graham G4HFG, Emil KJ4GNH, T Rod, KT4ROD
and Ed WB8BHL
After the first set Steve awarded
The Cruiser of the
Week to Steve & Amanda Nash in their 1956 Chevy 210.
Bunny did a great job selling 50/50 tickets Roger from Orlando had
the winning ticket for the $55 jackpot.
Cruiser # 177 Brent Bohall was not out so the Cruise-A-Matic goes up
to $150.00 next week.
