HAPPY HALLOWEEN. What a great night for our last Friday cruise of October. It seemed like it was going to be a very slow night but by 5 o'clock things started to pick up. Buzz and Sue were there to welcome us as we arrived at Old-Town. Then Bill Hunter came in with his beautiful patriotic red truck. This truck is painted to honor the Marines but Bill says (it goes to honor all the armed forces.) He travels to a lot of shows and recently has put over 2000 miles on this cruiser and we are glad to have him back with us. Stan came by for awhile but did not cruise. He is going to help out at the Lion's Club who are having a Halloween party for kids and under privileged kids. Pablo and Nilda a came in with their 96 Taurus. Ted, our ace photographer, came in next. He had enlarged some of the pictures he had taken of the cruisers and was giving them out. That is very generous of you Ted and we thank you. Bob with his HHR, he had the honor of parking with the cruiser of the month tonight. Toby with his frogman PT cruiser found his favorite spot on block 4. Also Gerald with his Pontiac and Jon and Angie with their Formula were were on block 4.

We dined by ourselves at the Steakhouse on the corner. As we came back the spectator crowd was starting to grow. We noticed some very strange characters walking the streets. We knew it was going to be a spooky night. Art Ciesla was cruising his 1999 blue Corvette. He also had his stepson Koty with him tonight----still a lot of strange people walking around. Dale Wratislaw from the Tampa area drove in with his 2009 Dodge challenger R/T/ Dale is a military contractor and has been spending some time in Afghanistan-------more weird people passing by. We hope you didn't miss this one, Tom and Trisca from Zypher Hills had their 1994 Ford truck all dressed up for Halloween>>>>>>>>that's it, it must be Halloween. That explains the spooky characters. Tom and Trisca really went all out to dress the part.

Some of our regulars Chris with his Pontiac formula and George with his Yukon which he has it very well decorated for Halloween were here for this very special night. Our good friends Bob, Fran and Chris made a rare visit with their 1977 Volkswagen Bus. Ron and Beth Freeman drove down from Leesburg with their 2007 white Corvette. Ron was dressed as and old man with a long white beard. As he sat on the bench he just looked like a manikin but when he moved the kids really took notice. We were really surprised how many people participated in this great night. We want the many kids and all the adults that acted like kids for giving us a very enjoyable Halloween. There were also many generous people passing out candy. Even some of our Saturday night cruisers came out to visit. We want to thank Old-Town and our great staff for an enjoyable evening of fun.

Our cruise-O-Matic will go to $50,00 next week. No takers tonight. The 50/50 of $59.00 went to ticket no. 30518 who purchased 10 tickets.

See you all next week.
