The
weatherman was predicting rain tonight but we headed down to Old Town
anyway. We never have a rainout on a Friday Night Cruise. What is a
little rain to a true cruiser? However we did get the cruise in before
it started to rain. We were first to arrive, then Stan with his jeep, he
hasn't got the carburetor for his blue Pacer. He was a little aggravated
about not receiving it yet, but we all know how that is, if you have had
to have anything done on your vehicle. Tom Coupe was back with his 1983
Ford pickup. He has been so busy playing the good Samaritan at his park,
we are sure he will be rewarded for his good deeds. Dave and Bev were
next with their HHR. Dave's brother, who he has not seen in several
years was here visiting in Old Town. Don and Jackie were at several
tractor pulls instead of cruising with us. He even bought a tractor.
Also we want to thank Bob Butler for bringing the news letters to us.
The Mighty Titans Club were our guests tonight. This club will
be meeting tomorrow but some of them cruised in early to be with us
tonight. We welcome you all. We all know that Allan and our staff
are the best, we also know that the cruisers have got to work with them,
the rules are very simple, we don't even have to think, just do as they
ask and we will have a safe and well organized cruise. Lets all work
together on this. The Loosers had their favorite spot. George with his
86 Cutlass came in next followed by Ted. KE4TTE. Many of our regulars did not
show up tonight. Buzz and Sue are our cruisers of the month for March.
His beautiful 2003 Ford Pickup sure looks good in that honor spot.
Congratulations to both of them.
We
had 104 beautiful cruisers tonight. Not bad for threatening
weather. We had no 50/50 tonight because of the rain. Joe pulled one
number tonight for the "Cruise-O-Matic". No takers.
See you all next week.
