"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

Even before I left for the Cruise in in the '61 Corvair, Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England, called to see what the weather was like. He would check back several times during the evening. Roger, AKA "Scary Larry" would have his Mustang parked when I arrived. Jack would park his '59 VW next to me just before "Mustang Mike" would situate the DJ Rig. Bob B would park his SSR in his favorite spot. Bill, N2WFU and the "Boys" would take a spot next to Roger for their '68 Bel Air. James would park his '67 Firebird on the other side. The Coral & Gray '55 Chevy parked across from it. Steve Mc, K4SKM, would bring out the '29 Model A, Richard F would park his Model A roadster next to it. John would park his '57 Chevy under the shade tree. Later Rich would join him in his '87 El Camino. Jean in her '36 Ford, she took "Best of Show" last weekend at the "Fortune Road show, would park next to Paul in his "Toy Truck" across from them. Bill would join that line up in his '81 Blazer. Clay, WA8ART. would be out with out his 'Vette but he stayed for a while and caught up with everyone. Bruce, KD4KXE, would arrive in his Cobra and park next to Richard. Dick & Jackie would would have her '66 Mustang and his '65 Mustang 2+2 out tonight. Bob M would park in his favorite spot in the '65 Rambler, Jim would be next to him in the '67 GTO. Larry R is back in town for the season but he sold the car  before he got here, He'll have another soon.

The "Front Line" would of course have Nick & Fran in the '32 Deuce Coupe and Bob in his 68 SS396 Chevelle. Bill in the Vega, Mike in '71 SS Chevelle and Gary & Wanda in their '55 Chevy. Roy would join them later in his '64 Galaxie, Steve & Donna and their '68 Plymouth GTX were also along 13th Street. Jaime would be out later in his 502 Cobra. Don in his Mustang Fastback would take the spot next to the SSR. Chuck and Linda would be out in their Corvettes, Linda's took peoples Choice at the Fortune Road car Show last week end. "Lucky Louie" would be back with us tonight in his '52 Ford. Anthony's mom and dad, Brian & Missy brought him out in the '71 Chevy pickup. Tom & Debby parked their '66 Chevy next to them. Neil & Elaine were out in the Healey. "Bo" & "Bruiser" would be out in his '64 Corvair convertible. Ron A was out in his daily driver, the Caddy is still undergoing that Big Block transplant. Renee would stop by and do the prize shopping. Pat & Alan along with Coy and Bill the "Photographer" would be out. Bob would take the last spot in the "Red Row" tonight with his 36 Ford Humpback Tudor. Ron H had his Model A out tonight, it will be good to have him back cruising the next month or so. Al would bring out his Model A and park next to him. Hank would stop by in his Baja Bug on his way to work. John, Jonathan & Trish were in the '68 Camaro convertible. Yes, as usual George  would arrive just about 7:00 in his heirloom Falcon but he wasn't the last to arrive, Laura, NO4OO in her '98 Firebird would take that honor tonight sneaking her way to place of Honor just before the drawings.

I awarded the "Mustang Mike", Eagle engraving, Embroidery by Renee "Cruiser of the Week" award to Rich Towne, #433 with his '87 El Camino.  Mike and Bob then made the draws. Al Wendling, Cruiser #80, had the winning ticket for the the $97 50/50. The Cruise-A-Matic rolls over to $250 next week. (I lost my note on who was drawn this week, but they weren't out anyway.)

I hope I didn't do to bad on the story tonight, with Linda at home I didn't have any notes.
