"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

 

Linda & I would take our "new" 1967 Dodge Dart to the Cruise-In on a Thursday for the first time. We arrived at 4:00 to an empty parking lot. "Mustang Mike" parked the DJ rig when we were over at the Wal-Mart. John would park his ‘57 Chevy in it's place of honor. Paul would park his "Toy Truck" under the Shade Tree, Scary Larry was in the first spot with his Mustang. Jean would join in with Paul in her '36 Ford, John would have his 6 Wheeled Samurai next to her. Bill would join in with his Blazer later. Chuck would have his ‘57 Chevy just down from them. Nicky "Bop" would be out in his '32 Ford in the front row along with Tony & Marianne in the SS454 Monte Carlo. Dick would bring out the '65 Mustang 2+2. The "Front Line" would include Dave in his Avanti, Morgan and Jo Ellen would join in later, James in his '67 Pontiac, Mike & Linda in their '71 Chevelle, Bob in his '68 SS396 Chevelle, Bill in the Vega, Nick & Fran in the '32 Ford Coupe and Gary & Wanda in their ‘55 Chevy. Steve Mc, K4SKM parked his Model A across from us. Neil & Elaine would park the '60 Vette next to him but not before Bruce, KD4KXE would have out his carbureted '65 Cobra in that row. Bob was in his SSR, Bob M has the '65 Rambler next to Dan Z's 41 Willys under the little tree. Steve, Charlie & Marie would be in the '77 Caddy. Philip & Frances would be out in the '86 Z-28. "Lucky Louie" would be in his '50 Ford and "Cousin John" would be in his '72 deVille.

Regular spectators that would make it out included Coy, Pat & Alan, Dennis and Francine along with Bill the "Photographer", Emma would come out with her sister, Sarah and her husband Earl along with Brittany and Scott. They are visiting from New England. Barbara was out with just a few of the "Kids". Roger F was out but I didn't see his Cruiser. Others without cars included Roy, who was celebrating his Anniversary and Ron A, Roy Jr was also setting on the corner with them. Chuck & Linda would also be out with out their Corvettes. There would also be Cake for Tony D's 66th Birthday, Happy Birthday!

"Hot Rod Row" would include a couple of "Scott Rods" the "Wild Thing" along with Ron H's Model A, Al's Model A and Bill & Claudia's Model A. George & George would be out in the  Chevy powered Olds, Bob N would help Mike in the the trailer but didn't bring out the Cruiser. "Hipo", Bailey, the Cruising Dog's little brother came to a Cruise for the first time with Pony Drive Dave. George S would park his '72 Monte Carlo next to us. Hank would make it out on his way to work in the Baja Bug. John and Jonathan would bring out the '68 Camaro convertible. Yes, as usual George  would arrive just about 7:00 in his heirloom Falcon

"Mustang Mike", Eagle engraving, Embroidery by Renee "Cruiser of the Week" award to Gary & Wanda Thompson #424 with their '55 Chevrolet Bel Air. "Lucky Louie" Piazza Cruiser, #452, had the winning ticket for the $95 50/50.

Robert Finley, Cruiser #215 wasn't out to claim the $275 Cruise-A-Matic so on December 4th, out next Cruise-In it rolls over to $300 and we draw until we have a winner.
