"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

On our way to the Cruise-In we had to make a stop for a new battery for “Elvira”, our  '60 Ranchero. Linda wishes it would be that easy for people to get a fresh power supply. "Mustang Mike" was already in place and the cones were out when we arrived. Tony & Marianne had their ‘72 Monte Carlo just where they like it. Bob was in his SSR, Bob M has the '65 Rambler under the little tree and Darrell had his LTD out on a Thursday for the first time. John would take the first spot under the big shade tree with his 6 wheeled Samurai. Jean in her '36 Ford would park next to him, then Paul would join them. Roy F Jr stopped by for a chat with Mike. John would park his ‘57 Chevy in the section to the North of our car, Steve Mc, K4SKM would situate his Model A across from us. Nicky “Bop” would park his ‘32 Ford where he likes it. James would take the first spot with his '67 Pontiac. “Cousin John “ would bring his ‘72 Caddy out. Dan Z would park his 41 Willys along 13th Street. Jim would back his ’62 F-85 in to a spot next to us. Bill would bring out his ‘81 Blazer. Ron H would park his Model A next to Steve’s, John R would be next in that line with his ‘65 Mustang then Neil & Elaine in their ‘62 TR6 and “Cigar Bob” in his '36 Ford “Humpback. “Bo” and Bruiser had their Corvair next to us.

Our regular spectators included “Bill the Photographer”, Coy. Dennis & Francine, Pat & Alan, Danny and Zack. John and Mary B were out with Megan and Alec. Dar came out to visit and brought along daughter Dana visiting from Mo. Daughter in law Renee and grandson Caden. Bob & Pat were out trying to steal John’s Mustang and “Bo's” nephew Brian was in town as well. Larry, did you buy a car yet? Rich would have his El Camino in it's place of honor.

The “Front Line” would now include, Nick & Francine in their '32 Deuce Coupe, Bob in his '68 SS396 Chevelle, Bill in the Vega. Mike with his '71 Chevelle, Gary & Wanda in their ‘55 Chevy and Curt with his ‘48 GMC pickup. Tony, Marsha and James would bring out the Healey Sebring and the Datsun Z. Ron & Renee were out in the daily driver. Roy would be in his '64 Galaxie 500XL. Dick would be in his '65 Mustang 2+2. Steve,  Charlie and Marie were out in the '77 deVille, Doc would have out the “Tater Truck”, Suzanne would join him later. Chuck and Libby would have their ‘57 Chevy down in “Hot Rod Row”. Scott & Cyndy had 2 of the “Scott Rods” out. Russ was in his “Wild Thing” Jimmy was out visiting. Zeno, Joan, Chad & Justin were by their ‘57 T-Bird. Cruisers without cars that were spotted included Don M, Don R, the Mustang Fastback is in the paint shop. Dave, Jo Ellen & Morgan would not be in the Avanti. Emma was also out with us tonight. Chuck & Linda were out without the ‘Vettes. I think tonight Hank was the last to arrive in his Baja Bug just after George arrive in his “Heirloom” Falcon. Graham, W4HFG, Carol and his mum, Edith made their way to Florida during the Cruise-In. It was a night of Family & Friends.

I presented the "Mustang Mike", Eagle engraving, Embroidery by Renee "Cruiser of the Week" award to John Pogue, #354 with his '57 Chevrolet 210.
Dick Ralston, Cruiser; #443, had the winning ticket for the $112 50/50, he donated $20 back to the Cruise to split with this newsletter, Thank You. The “Cruise-A-Matic” rolls over to $275 because Cruiser #631, Tom Rokita wasn’t out tonight.
