"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

When we arrived at 4:00 it was the same Bank car parked in the area for the DJ rig, I guess they just can't remember when it is Thursday. "Mustang Mike" followed our  '60 Ranchero in to the parking lot with the DJ Rig. Paul parked his new 'Toy Truck" under the shade tree. Tony & Maryanne would be the next to arrive in their '72 SS454 Monte Carlo. Tony would bring out his '40 Ford Tudor. James would bring his '67 Pontiac out tonight, Jean in her '36 Ford would join in under the Shade Tree. Roger, AKA "Scary Larry" would be in his Mustang, taking the spot where Ron usually has his Caddy, that is almost back on the road. Bill the "Photographer" was on time, Coy would help Mike with the cones. Steve Mc would bring out the '64 Corvair, Renee would join Ron A and shop for the prizes, Thank You. Nicky "Bop" would bring out his '55 Chevy, Richard F. would park his Model A across from us. Bill K would park his K5 Blazer by Jean.

Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England, did call in to see who was at the Sonic tonight, you know he never misses a Cruise-In. Josh, KI4UCB would stop by for a visit on his way to class as we met the "Loser" for something to eat under the canopy at the Sonic. While there the parking lot started to fill up. It was the night that the Mid-Florida Corvette Club comes to our Cruise-In and there were several of them that made it out. Nick and Fran would be in their '32 Deuce Coupe. Neil & Elaine would bring out the '60 Vette. John R would be in his Mustang next "Bo" in his Corvair. "Cigar" Bob would be out in his daily driver straight from work, he would help sell the 50/50 tickets. John would have his 6 Wheeler out. He commented on the fact that he thought he left the cold weather up in Indiana, I said it followed him down to Florida. Doc was in his "Mach 1". The Crawford's were back from up north and parked their F-85 next to us. Steve,  Charlie and Marie were out in the '77 deVille, that, by the way took "Best Cadillac" at the BOPC show last Saturday. Dick & Jackie would would have her '66 Mustang in it's place of honor. Bob M would park in his favorite spot in the '65 Rambler, Dennis & Francine would join Pat & Alan in front of the trailer, Bob & Barb from Scotland would also be in the mix tonight. Chuck & Linda would be out without their Corvettes. Bert & "Ernie" would be in the front line with their '66 Comet wagon, Dave and his Avanti along with Bill in the Vega, Mike in his Chevelle, Gary & Wanda in the '55 Chevy, Wilson & Luz in their '57 Chevy. John, Jonathan & Trish were in the '68 Camaro convertible. There were a couple of "ScottRods" and the "Wild Thing" in Hot Rod Row. Tony & Marsha were out in the Datsun Z. Al would bring out his Model A. Laura, NO4OO and Terry, KT4ROD would be out in her '98 Firebird.  Tim, Emma, Andy & Mickey, Barbara V and some of the Kid's and Grandkids were in the crowd,  even Larry was out with one of his favorite Fords. Jim was out in his '67 GTO. Roy in hi '64 Galaxie, Don in his Mustang Fastback was also out. Morgan & Jo Ellen joined in with Dave. It certainly was a great night for Old Cars and good friends. Tom & Debby were out in their daily driver, Anthony and his mom and dad, Brian & Missy brought him out in the '71 Chevy pickup. Even Dana was over there! (Was this before or After?). Cousin Vinny was tooling around on his scooter, I know I missed a few but then again it was cold and I think my brain froze. Yes, as usual George  would arrive just about 7:00 in his heirloom Falcon.

I presented the "Mustang Mike", Eagle engraving, Embroidery by Renee "Cruiser of the Week" award to Laura Pennington, NO4OO, Cruiser #73 and her '98 Firebird. Then the drawings began. Dick Ralston Cruiser #413, had the winning ticket for the $85 50/50. He donated $10 back to the Cruise-In and $10 to this newsletter, Thank You.

Cruiser # 668, Jessie Marciniak, wasn't out tonight so the "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $225 for next week.
