Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

We arrived at 3:50 in our '61 Corvair, 1 bank car was right in the middle of the DJ rigs parking spot. Jean in her '36 Ford, was the first of the "Shade Tree" bunch, Coy, helped "Mustang Mike" with the cones, Paul would be out with his newest "Toy Truck". James would park his '67 Pontiac next to us. Roger, AKA Scary Larry, was out in the daily driver. Nicky "Bop" was out in his 'Vette. "Cousin John" parked his Caddy next to "Bop". Brian would park to the North of us in the '66 Chevelle. Steve Mc, K4SKM would bring out his Model A. Bob B would park his SSR in his favorite spot. Ron A would be out in the daily driver, the Caddy is still undergoing the placement of the "502". Renee would join him later and do the Prize shopping, Thank You. Bob M would park in his favorite spot in the '65 Rambler. Ed & Evelyn would be out in her '64 Corvair Coupe. Bill would park his Blazer next to Paul. The Green Truck was in place just after John would park his '57 Chevy. Chris would back his '75 Formula 400 Pontiac in the other open spot next to us. Louie would bring his "Old School" '50 Ford out tonight. John B is back in town with his 6 Wheel Samurai. Bob would park his '36 Ford Humpback across from us. "Loser #2" stopped by for a while in his daily driver and joined us for dinner at the Sonic.

That Vega that comes out parked in the front line. Then we heard the rumble, yep it was Nick & Fran in the '32 Deuce Coupe and Bob in his 68 SS396 Chevelle. There was also a black firebird that came out, don't know who's it is yet. The "Wookie" brought out the "Flamed out" '65 Buick convertible, Dan would have his '41 Willys in the front line as would Dave, park his Avanti. Randy would stop out briefly in his '61 Ford Pickup. Don R would park his '68 Mustang Fastback in the spot at the back of the trailer. Alan & Pat would be out to join in. Dana stopped by and wanted me to mention that next Wednesday Angel would be singing with him at the Pub in Saint Cloud. Philip would bring out his Z-28. Bill "The Photographer" would be out. John R would park his Mustang nearby Bob as would "Bo" in his Corvair. "Bruiser the Cruiser" was with him. Juan's Notch-back '66 VW would also be in the "Front Line". Chuck & Linda would bring out their Corvettes. Ray would park next to him in his Red one. Bert & "Ernie" would bring out the '66 Comet wagon. Laura & Steve would also be out in their '61 Corvette parked near Jim in his '67 GTO. Neil & Elaine are back in town and they were out in the Healey. Tom & Edna would bring out the 8 Door Greenbrier. Allan & Nikki would be out in their Tundra, he would also demonstrate his JO JO, I have a little video on YouTube.

Gary & Wanda would park their '55 Chevy in the "Front Line". John, Jonathan & Trish were in the '68 Camaro convertible. Ray & Bonnie had their '56 Lincoln Capri down in "Hot Rod Row" and there was one "ScottRod" there as well. Brian, Missy & Anthony were out in their '71 Chevy Pickup. Larry & Barbra V had out the Ford Vicky and Roger F had his '56 Chevy just down from us. John B even stopped out for a bit in his '66 Vette. Rich was out in his El Camino, Roy even showed up in the '64 Galaxie, Hank in his Baja bug stopped by on his way to work, Al would bring out his Model A and of course George would arrive just about 7:00 in his heirloom Falcon. Yes Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England, did call in to see who was at the Sonic tonight, you know he never misses a Cruise-In. and Ed, WB8BHL, stopped out, he is working on his '66 Mustang, sure hope to see it soon. I know I didn't get every one listed but I do remember also seeing "Cousin Vinny" and Tim, with a cane and not the wheel chair. Last but not least, Steve, Charlie and Marie were out with the '77 Coupe deVille in it's place of honor.

I presented the "Mustang Mike", Eagle engraving, Embroidery by Renee "Cruiser of the Week" award to Bob & Marge Melendy #210 with '65 Rambler Ambassador 990. Then the drawings began, lots of prizes "Bruiser" really liked the orange tickets, they are fruit flavored I guess. George Crofut Cruiser #634 had the winning ticket for the $104 50/50, he donated $7 to this newsletter. Thank You.

Ken Tilton, Cruiser # 326 wasn't out tonight so the "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $175 for next week.
