"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

It was just after 4:30, the local gendarme had a lane blocked on 192 because of an accident,  when we arrived at the Sonic. There was a late model Corvette just up from our parking spot, with Bill & Doug, they came over from Melbourne to check out the Corvette Club. We parked our '60 Ranchero in our favorite spot, "Scary Larry" was out in his Rain truck with Miss Dolly. Mustang Mike" already had his DJ rig in place. Allan stopped by in his daily driver for a few minutes. John, KG4BFJ stopped by for a visit on his motorcycle. Graham, G4HFG checked in over the radio to say Hello to all and to extend his best wishes. Bob would have the SSR in his favorite spot. Ron A would be out in his daily driver, Bill the photographer and Dana stopped by for a bit. James would be out without his daily driver, Jean would be parked under the big shade tree in her  '36 Ford, Paul would be in his "Toy Truck" and John would then situate his '57 Chevy 210, next to it. Jack was out in "Old Yeller" just down from us. "Lucky Louie" would phone in sick. When the rain started we would go over to the Sonic about the time Bob N pulled in with his daily driver. Several Cruisers would call on the phone to see what was going on, including Ron B and Steve Mc, K4SKM. Ted, KE4TTE and Ed WB8BHL would check in. Just before 5:40 when Mike called the Cruise-In due to the weather, Dick & Jackie would show up in the 2+2 Mustang. "Cousin John" would pull up about the time everyone was leaving. Bruce, KF4HRJ would stop by to pick up a radio I had programmed for James, N4IAT. Phillip and Francine arrived in the Camaro just about the time we finally left the parking lot at 6:30. Our trip home was in the rain and lightening.

Two weeks ago the "Mustang Mike", Eagle engraving, Embroidery by Renee "Cruiser of the Week" was given to Phillip & Frances Piazza Cruiser # 710 with their '86 Z-28 Camaro.

"Cruise-A-Matic" remains at $50
