"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

It was just after 4:00 when we arrived at the Sonic. There was one bank car still blocking our regular spot where we park our '60 Ranchero "Scary Larry" would bring out his Rain truck and park it across from us. Bob would arrive in his SSR and park it in his favorite spot. "Big" John would have his '08 Vette out.  "Mustang Mike" would arrive and park the DJ rig just before 4:30. Ron A would back his '61 Caddy in to his favorite spot. Bill the Photographer would stop out for a while. "Loser # 2", Tony would stop by for a few minutes in his Corvette. Pat & Alan, our regular spectators would be out early, Paul would arrive in his '58 DeSoto, Jean in her '36 Ford and Bill in his Blazer would join them under the tree.  Rich in his '87 El Camino would join that lineup. Gary & Wanda were in  "Remember When" their '55 Chevy parked next to Nick & Fran in their '32 Ford, Bob would be on the other side with his '68 SS396 Chevelle. Even Dan Z would be out in his '59 Edsel. Doc & Suzanne came out together in the Mach1. Richard would be out in his '31 Model A. Tony & Marsha brought out Marsha's '73 Datsun 240Z. John, Trish and Jonathan would be out in their '68 Camaro. We had lot's of George's to our right, Big George and Little George in their '86 Oldsmobile and George S in his 72 Monte Carlo. Even Joe Z would bring out his Mustang tonight, it was his fault that it rained, he cleaned his car when he arrived. "BeBop" Bob would have his '36 Ford in a spot by "Bo's" Corvair, he would then sell tickets in the trailer. Emma and Linda chatted about making baby clothes for the up coming grand child, any reason for Linda to get out the knitting needles. Chuck & Linda were out in their Corvettes. Don R in his '68 Fastback Mustang. Roy even had his '64 Galaxie 500 XL in a spot next to Louie in his '52 Ford. Phillip would also be out in his '86 Camaro a while before George would arrive in his  '61 Falcon.

Tony, K4AVD and Graham, G4HFG checked in over the radio to say Hello to all and to extend their best wishes.

The rain started about 7:10 and we held the drawings at 7:15. Renee did the shopping, Thank you.

The "Mustang Mike", Eagle engraving, Embroidery by Renee "Cruiser of the Week" was given to Phillip & Frances Piazza Cruiser # 710 with their '86 Z-28 Camaro.

Dan Zapico, Cruiser #148 had the winning ticket for the $52.00 50/50. He donated $10 back to this newsletter, Thank You. There wasn't enough cash to advance the "Cruise-A-Matic" tonight so next week we will have $50 in the offering.
