"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

We backed our '60 Ranchero in to our favorite spot just after 4:00, it wasn't long before Ron in his '61 Caddy would choose his parking spot, then J in his  '67 Firebird was the next to arrive just before "Mustang Mike"  would situate the DJ Rig in it's normal location. Bob arrived in his  SSR parking it right behind the Caddy it sure looked like we were going to have a nice day for the Cruise-In. Nicky "Bop" was out in his 'Vette. Paul would park his DeSoto under the big shade tree, Jean would park her '36 Ford next to him and Bill K would park his Blazer across from them. I lost track of when everyone arrived but the following did make it out tonight. Regular Spectators, Coy, Dana, Dennis, Alan & Pat and "Bill The photographer". Other Cruisers that made it out before the rain started to fall, which coincidently, started just about the time that Laura, KI4ZJX, made it to the parking lot in her Firebird. "Red Racer", Ted, KE4TTE, stopped to drop off a few DVD's and take a few photos. Bob in his '68 SS396 Chevelle, Nick & Fran in their '32 Ford were parked in their favorite spots. "Big John" would have a '70 SS396 Chevelle in his favorite spot. Bob & Marge were nearby in the '40 Buick. Don & Jackie in their Mustang were also in the row. "Scary Larry" was in his '86 Mustang. Renee stopped out and took Ron over for the Prize shopping, Thanks!  Ray & Bonnie in their '56 Lincoln were in the North end of the parking lot as were John in his '57 Chevy and Rich in "Bananas" was nearby. Don would back his '68 Mustang Fastback into a spot across from Ron's Caddy. Bert & "Ernie" were back from their trip and were out in the '66 Comet Wagon. Brian & Missy were out in the '71 Pickup, Tom & Debbie were out in the daily driver, he is still recovering from surgery. Gary T is home from a short stay in the Hospital, Get Well, Gary.

Steve, Charlie and Marie had out the '77 deVille, Jim was out in his '67 GTOThe "Wookie" was in his Buick. Doc had out the old "Tater Truck". Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham England came in over the radio to spend the night with us. John, KG4BFJ, stopped by on his motorcycle. Steve & Carol joined in with us tonight, they had their '67 396RS Camaro parked across from J. Roy was in his '64 Galaxie 500XL, later he would "Hide Out" under the Drive in at the bank until the rain stopped. Tony & Marsha would debut the Datsun tonight, James was along as well. Earlier Jim Crawford would call me from a Cruise-In in Maryland. he says, hello to all. Craig, Mary & Trinni were out to see who was at the Cruise in their daily driver, it was good to see them. Al and Ron H would be out in their Model A's. Mike was in his "Scott Rod". He too has been very busy. "Lucky Louie" had his '50 Ford out, looking better every week. Dick & Jackie brought out the '86 Ford F250XL Lariat. Hank stopped out in his "Baja Bug" on his way to work. Larry was spotted in his "Baby Buggy" Chevy and I thought I saw Barbara arrive just before everyone scattered.

Then it happened, a couple of weather fronts collided above us and the skies opened. I mean, it really rained and the wind blew and it rained some more. Several of us headed for the shelter of the Sonic, Ed, WB8BHL and his son Christian were on their way to take a few pictures, so they joined us under the canopy. Mike called the Cruise at 6:45, there were several of us that just hung out and visited until after 8:00. The rain stopped by then.

Next week we will still have $225 in the "Cruise-A-Matic".

Our last "Cruiser of the Week" was Dave & Nancy Perry, Cruiser #203 with their '30 American Austin
