"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

 

We arrived about 4:10 "Mustang Mike" was already set up and most of the Bank cars were all parked along 13th street except for one that was parked in front of Mike but she backed out as we were ready to maneuver our '60 Ranchero and our display area was open, Thank you. Tony & Marianne would then back their' 71 SS 454 Monte Carlo in to their favorite Spot. Bob arrived in his  SSR just before Ron would back his '61 Caddy in to a spot behind him, Renee would join in later and do the shopping for the door prizes.  "Big John" would be next to arrive in the  '34 Ford Hot Rod. Bob would be out with out his '40 Buick. Later James would park his '67 Firebird next to him. John would park his Silver '57 Chevy in his favorite spot. Rich who  was in his  "BANANAS" would park next to him later. Paul in his "Toy Truck" along with Jean in her '36 Ford would park under the shade tree, Brian would bring out the '66 Chevelle, Quintino and Lisa would join him a little later. Ron B and Marc would be  across from us in the '64 Corvair, Neil & Elaine would be out in the '62 Rolls Royce. Josh, KI4UCB, stopped by on his way to class. Tony, K4AVD checked in from Wisconsin, all excited that Him, Sharon & Lucy would be going to their first Cruise tonight up there and said they both sure miss us all. Graham, G4HFG, now back in Oldham England came in over the radio to spend the night with us. "Scary Larry" arrived in his '86 Mustang with Pizza from the "King of Pizza" that was available at the beginning of the night in the DJ trailer, for the "Early Birds". "Cousin John" parked his 72 deVille in the top row.

Dan Z was in his  '59 Edsel along 13th street. Bob was also in the line up with his '68 SS396 Chevelle, Nick & Francine would make it out in the '32 Ford, good to have you back Nick. Jim was out in his '67 GTO.  Brian and Anthony would bring the '71 Chevy C-10,  Tom & Debbie were out in their '66 Impala with Madison. Jim was out again with his '72 Challenger. Dave, Esther, Nikki, Mesha and Asa arrived in the '83 Mercury. Later even Allan would stop to visit and rest a while and chat with them and any everyone else he came across in his short visit, Thanks for Stopping by. Chuck & Linda would be out in their '78 and '79 'Vettes. Steve & Amanda would debut their '56 Chevy 210 4 door.

Coy, Dana, Emma represented our regular spectators. John & Jonathan were out in their Camaro, Hank in his "Baja Bug" out on his way to work. Laura, KI4ZJX, came up from the "Green Swamp" in her Firebird, her mom Mary and her husband Bob were along to join in with us. Kevin KM4FSU also joined the spectators as did "Bill the Photographer" before Ian G4ZPZ from Manchester England stopped out to this event for the first time. Doc & Suzanne were spotted in the old "Tater Truck". Roger was in his '56 Chevy, Barbara and the Grand kids joined in. Roy F would have the top down on his '64 Galaxie 500 XL parked behind Nicky "Bops" '55 Chevy. Don R's '68 Mustang Fastback was behind the DJ rig. "Lucky Louie" would be out in his '52 Ford. Charlie & Marie came out in the daily driver I also spotted Phillip that was out in his Camaro. Even Timmy & "Cousin Vinnie" were out tonight.

Russ was in the "Wild Thing", '35 Ford pickup. Scott and Cindy were also out in their "Scott Rod". Al would park nearby in his Vintage Model A Tudor.  "Mustang Mike" was playing his usual mix of tunes and Bob, was helping out in the trailer. I even spotted John B and Mary in their 66 'Vette. Ray & Bonnie were also out in their '56 Lincoln. George in his "Heirloom" '61 Falcon was amongst the last to arrive. It was a very busy night that started of slowly but turned out to be a nice crowd. Tom & Edna along with Ed & Evelyn, Jeff & Tara and Don M were out for a while in their respective Corvairs. Bob N would have his '36 Ford in it's place of honor while he helped out with the ticket sales.

Next week we will have $150 in the "Cruise-A-Matic" Don Johnson, Cruiser #293 wasn't out tonight.. Awwwwww.

Chuck White, Cruiser #351, had the winning ticket for the $100 50/50.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with Tom & Debbie Oliver in their '66 Chevy Impala"

Yes, John "Coach" Wallauer our May "Cruiser of the Month" was also out in his "Pro-Street" Duster.
