"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

When a day is as beautiful as today was and with as much activity that was in the parking lot that there was it is hard to remember all who came out. Bill, N2WFU was one of first to arrive in his retired NYPD Radio Car, Trevor & Mr. Lucky were with him. Bob was in his SSR and parked in his favorite place. 'Big John" in his GT 350. Dick parked his '66 2+2 Mustang and headed off to eat with the better half. Linda had kidnapped Quintino when he and his dad arrived in the daily driver after she had been shopping so we didn't record an order of the arrivals. OK, so I was over drooling at the '64 Rambler Classic station wagon, again. "Scary Larry" had his Mustang just where he likes it. Anyway, Bill was out in his Blazer, Dave M had his '32 Ford Roadster, Tom & Edna along with some of the family were out in the '58 Buick and the '28 Model A, "Fire Chief Car" that Tom finished this last week. It was a 22 year project. Ed & Evelyn were out in her '64 Corvair Coupe, Ed & Sarah in their '62 Corvair Coupe, celebrating their Anniversary with us tonight  and Don M in his '64 Corvair convertible. Paul had his "Toy Truck" out. Jean was nearby in her '36 Ford. Bobby had his Caddy powered '57 Chevy next to Roger's '48 Chevy pickup. Chuck, N4MOR and Libby were in his '57 Chevy. John had his 6 Wheeled Samurai by John's 57 Chevy. Ron H was out in his Model A Tudor, Tom & Diane were out in the Model A pickup. Jim C had his '50 Jeepster. "Bo" had his '64 Corvair. Steve & Carolyn were out in the Challenger, their last Thursday before going back home to Canada. John & Sandy in the 'Ford next to them. Tony & Marianne in the '71 Monte Carlo SS454. "Cousin John" in his Caddy. Ron A had his '61 Caddy just where he likes it. Roy was out in his '64 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. Dennis, Coy & Dana, regular spectators were spotted along with "Cousin Vinnie", Tim and his brothers along with Bill the Photographer. Nicky "Bop" was the one with the flat tire on his Corvette, Roy, K4RAP a Cruiser and Ham came out for the first time in a while, He was in his daily driver, sure hope he starts to bring out the Monte Carlo again. Doc & Suzanne were out in the "Tater Truck", Dane came out a bit later. Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England did check in over the radio and spent most of the evening with us. Steve, Charlie & Marie had the '77 deVille parked next to us. John, KG4BFJ stopped by while we were eating and walked lot with me before having to leave.

Don & Tara joined in with us tonight in a '77 TransAm. Pep & Nancy also became Cruisers with us tonight in their '91 Mustang convertible along with Terry & Irene in their '57 Chevy. Welcome to you all, hope you can make many more Thursday's with us. "Mustang Mike" started out the night with "that grin". It even got more predominant when Emma made it to the Cruise, hmmmm? Along the front row we had many of our regulars, Jeff in his '59 Edsel, Bob in his '68 Chevelle SS396 and Nick in that '32 Ford Coupe. Dan wasn't far away in the '33 Ford Speedstar. Jaime was just over from them in his Cobra. Carl ended up on the front row with his Blue Cobra, he didn't have practice for his quartet tonight so he was able to join in with us. There was even a "Cletus", a '30 Chevy Coupe, spotting, Looser # 2 brought him out tonight along with daughter Ashley, who was visiting over "Spring Break". Bob was even out tonight in his '40 Buick parked by the GT350. Larry & Karen in "ITZA 40" came to their last Thursday this year. Larry V. was in his '48 Chevy, Barbara and a few of the grandkids joined later, Roger was parked nearby "Coach" who was out in his "Pro Street" Duster. Tony, Marsha & Jim L. were out in the '67 Ford. I spotted them over by the 1954 Century Boat that was pulled into the lot by a '57 Chevy pickup. Gary & Wanda were out tonight in their '55 Chevy, "Remember When"

There was even a bit of dancing going on during the evening, Nancy, Lynn and "Ernie" were out in front of the DJ rig entertaining themselves for us. It is good to have some of the Old Town dancers with us. Bob had his '36 Ford humpback out tonight, he was in the trailer helping with the tickets. Coy did the shopping for us again tonight, Thank You. Even John B made it out for a while in his Corvette. I know I didn't mention everyone that was out, hey, I did it from memory, not bad for an old guy. Yes, George made it out in his "Heirloom" '61 Falcon. He and the "Wookie", who parked his Buick in the "Cruiser of the Week" spot, I guess he doesn't need to be picked again this year, even though he hasn't yet.

George Crofut, Cruiser #634, had the winning ticket for the $122, 50/50 and the $10 bonus. He donated $20 back to the Cruise.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $250 for next week, Cruiser #704, Marie Merkl wasn't out tonight.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with Cruiser #81, Roger Fasnacht in his 56 Chevy.

On to the Photos
