"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

Well, it didn't rain so here we go. Linda & I arrived just after 4:00, Bill with his '63 Parisienne was the first to arrive followed closely by "Scary Larry" in his Mustang, then it was "Buffalo Bill" in his '55 Chevy. Bill will be taking that vintage Pontiac back to Canada tomorrow I think, See you next year! Tony & Marianne were in the "Black Beauty" their '71 Monte Carlo. "Cousin John" parked his Caddy next to us. Jean came up the bottom side of the first row in her '36 Ford. Paul was in his "Toy Truck". Even John B made it out for a while tonight in his "Slick 51". Nicky "Bop" is still looking for that Echo in his '32 Ford, he was backing it into his favorite spot while Bob arrived in his SSR. Ralph & Ulla from Maine, no Cruiser this year, joined in with us about the time that Ralph & Shirley came out. Don M parked his red Corvair in a spot next to Jean, Lenn wheeled his '60 Ford panel truck into the lot and parked a row back. Steve & Carolyn in their '71 Dodge Challenger 440 Six pack arrived, they should still be around next week, parked across from us. John & Sandy parked next to them in their '53 Ford.  Jim parked his '62 F-85 in the spot next to us. Shirley later told Linda that Ken, the used car lot guy, who usually parks there is getting along a little better. Jeff parked his '59 Edsel in a spot by 13th Street. "Bo" in his Corvair and "Lucky Louie", in his '52 Ford, arrived and took spots next to Steve's Dodge. Dave, in his '63 Avanti parked near Jeff, Jo Ellen and Morgan would join him later. Then I spotted this real low to the ground '33 Ford. I saw a couple crammed into it, they parked it next to Jeff, you guessed it, Dan Z & Liz then got out of it. The "Easer Egg" Willys was traded for this 502 Big Block powered car. Bob was in his '68 SS396 Chevelle, he parked next to Nick in the '32 Ford Coupe, Fran was out in the Camaro. There was a bit of a shuffle because of a motor home that was for sale was parked in prime Cruise-In area. Then there was a guy with a '64 Rambler Station wagon on a trailer taking even more spots up trying to sell it. I sure would like that one for my self. Bill the photographer was out as usual. Dave M was out in  his '32 Ford Street Rod. Steve Mc was in his daily driver. Jerry & Judy Lane were spotted with out a Cruiser, he is recovering from Triple by-pass surgery. A lot of the going around. Tom & Diane were out in their Model A pickup, he too is recovering from the same, this is their first cruise since his surgery . Ed was out in the Corvair Coupe, Tom & Edna in the '58 Buick. Roger had his '56 Chevy next to Curt's GMC pickup. Even Chuck had his '57 Bel Air down there in "Hot Rod Row" with Russ' '35 Ford "Wild Thing. Larry was in "ITZA 40". Mike, N4HHA & Kristen, KJ4BST had their '63 Corvair Spyder parked near it. Steve, Charlie and Marie would be out in the '77 deVille. Emma would also join in on the event.

Now I know I will miss a few that came out tonight but I have to mention a few of the spectators, Alan & Pat, Coy. Tony, K4AVD, our Cruise Director Emeritus, now living in the Tundra, OK so it is really Wisconsin, checked in over the radio to say hello to his friends. Graham, G4HFG from Oldham, England along with Bernie, W1CDM from San Diego, California, checked in as well at "Red Racer Ted" KE4TTE, to see who and what was at the Cruise-In tonight. Kevin, KM4FSU came out early and spent the evening with us. "Big George & Little George" were out in the Olds. Randy broke a driveshaft on the Belvedere, he got it loaded up on a trailer and came back in his other Cruiser. Dana would show up to help keep Nicky "Bop" in his place.

It was a very busy night, Alan went off to do the shopping, Thank You. George in his '61 Falcon even came out early so that he would be parked by the DJ rig in his place of honor.

Paul Schwartz, Cruiser #6, with Tommy's tickets, that is what he says anyway, would have just the right one to take home the $118 50/50.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $225 next week. Cruiser #643, Victor Bernabe, wasn't out tonight.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with Larry Lethby in his 1940 Ford Coupe.

Thank You to "the King of Pizza", "AutoZone" for the gift bag that was drawn for separately and "Advance Auto" for the $50 bucket of goodies.
