Is on sale this week.
It is the night before Christmas and all through the
house, no one could be found, the "Cruiser" was missing the folding
chairs were gone. In the night air one could hear "Blue Christmas"
resounding from afar. "Is that Elvis? The young lad would ask. "No" I
responded, "it is
Dwight Icenhower and the
"Blue Suede Review", on stage at Old
Town". Oh the wonder and Joy we owe to the Merchants Association and
Tracy for bringing this Holiday Treat. We spent our Holiday
Night with our "Family" in our Home Town.
We arrived at 2:15 following Stan “The Pacerman” onto
Trophy Row in our '1967 Dodge Dart 270,
Allan
& Scotty were setting up.
Gary'
was next to arrive and park the '07
HHR, James parked his
'67 Firebird.
Mike, N4HHA in his
'63 Corvair Spyder,
stopped by on his way to a family function. Wolfman & Sue were the first
to park on the South Side of the stage '03 F150 "Wolf Wagon".
Ted arrived early in his
'06 Nissan "Red Racer" to join us at Flippers.
Bill, Doris & Keith in the
'79 T-Bird parked in their usual spot,
Dave, Esther
and
Mesha were the next to arrive
in their
83 Grand Marquis.
While we were at Flippers being served by Gina & Trish 2 surviving
Elves, Don arrived in his
'68 "Eleanor" GT350 Mustang, Ron & Renee in the
'61 Cadillac, Ray in his
'32 Ford Coupe, Rene in her
'64 Valiant and Nick in
his
'32 Ford Coupe Francine & Fenna would join him later.
When we got back ""Mustang Mike"
& Emma in their
'64 Greenbrier were
parking on the South side of the stage, Butch & Jennifer arrived in his
56 Chevy Del Ray, Fred & Betty got
an early start tonight and were able to bring out the '641/2 Mustang,
Tom, Bunny & Randy were in the
'66 Malibu. Jim & Joyce in their '69
Mercury, Nikki in the '05 Tundra, Bob & Marge in their ''68 SS396 Chevelle, Ralph & Ulla
joined in, Pep & Nancy were in their
'91 Mustang Convertible, Dave & Jo Ellen arrived together in the
'63 Avanti, Doc &
Suzanne brought out the '72 Mustang
mach 1. Bert & Ernie brought out the
"Elvis Tribute" PT Cruiser,
and the '66 Comet Wagon along with Family
from Indiana, Robert, Ashley, Daigan, Monte and Kaitlyn who was keeping
tight hold of Scooby Doo.
Kathy & the Kids would surprise Gary by coming
out for the Christmas Eve festivities.
Tom & Chris were in the '86 Indy Pace Car Vette, Roy in his '91 Infiniti, Trish & Doug
in the '68 Bronco, Eric in his '88 Camaro, Darrel in his '83 Monte
Carlo, Steve, Charlie & Marie were in the
'77 deVille, Tom & Lori in
their '79 Vette, Sue & Steve in her '08 "Elvis Tribute" PT Cruiser, Ken
& Wanda were in their
'78 "Indy Pace Car" Corvette, Dan & Rosemary in
her 2000 Mustang Convertible, Rick & Eric in a '31 Ford making a total
of 35 cars.
Regular spectators included Jazzmine (who also picked tickets for us) &
Glenda, Carlene & Don, Keith,
T Rod, KT4ROD & Tony. Plus a
few hundred more that I haven't met yet.
Tracy organized a Scarf giveaway, Dwight along with the
"Blue Suede Review" Paul, Shawn, Jimi and Peter,
and Scott who was also playing the guitar, Amy & Charlotte were the
second set backup singers were fantastic tonight. Arne, Bill, Karen, Sue
& Steve at the memorabilia table.
Emma & Bert took care of the 50/50 ticket sales, Thank you. The 50/50 grew to $244!
An elated spectator Wayne had the winning ticket. Lots of Prizes were given out
including donations from Old Town Merchants, Kissimmee Pop Corn Company,
The Haunted House and the KFC.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home with Doc & Suzanne
Watson, Cruiser #90, in their '72 Mustang mach1.
Cruiser Number 52 Bill Khoenle missed out on the $10 Cruise-A-Matic so
it goes up to $20 next week.
Radio check ins included
Graham, G4HFG, Emil, KJ4GNH and Bill, KG4NZR and
Bob, N2SXJ stayed for the show.

that brought us the "Rock at the Clock" event and to

TCB guys for giving us
the time that they do and to all of the Cruisers that are starting to
come out on a Wednesday Nite. Come on out, "Rain or Shine!" Cruisers, if
you don't want to bring out the car because of the weather come on out
anyway, lets build the audience on our own. Remember good entertainment
and good friends makes a great evening in our "Home Town".
