We arrived at 3:30 in our
1967 Dodge Dart 270, Scotty &
Allan
were putting finishing touches for tonight’s event,
Gary's
HHR was in it's usual spot,
Bill & Doris' in their
'79 T-Bird were in their favorite
spot and James had his
'67 Firebird nearby. Wolfman & Sue
in their '03 F150 "Wolf Wagon" were already
parked.
Dave would arrive in his
'63 Avanti, Jo Ellen & Morgan came later in the
daily driver.
Bob would take his "Decade" parking spot with his '65 Rambler.
Tom & Bunny would make it out in their '66 Malibu. We would then
head up to "Flippers" for dinner, Gina waited on us but before our meal
arrived she had to leave for school, Danielle would then take great care
of us. While we were there
Bert & Ernie would arrive in their
"Elvis Tribute" PT Cruiser. Dave
and
Mesha had the
83 Grand Marquis
out tonight, Esther came straight from work in the
daily driver.
Mike squeezed in one more Cruise with his
'69 Camaro before heading for home, have
a safe trip and we will see you next year!
Greg had to bring out his '01 Mustang his Camaro is waiting for a new
part.
Bruce, KD4KXE brought out one of his '65 Cobras,
"Mustang Mike"
& Emma were in their
'64 Greenbrier. Ralph & Ulla
were in their Daily Driver their ’40 Ford Coupe had to stay in Maine.
Tony & Marianne would bring out the SS454,
'71 Monte Carlo "Black Beauty". Lynn
would bring out her
'49 Ford Pickup, Roger came out in
his Friday Night Cruiser,
Bob would bring his
'68 SS396 Chevelle followed by Nick & Francine
in their
'32 Ford Coupe, Doc arrived in his
'30 Chevy "Tater" Truck followed
later by Suzanne in her daily driver.
Nancy would bring out the
'91 Mustang Convertible. Gary & Wanda
parked north of the stage in their
'55 Bel Air "Remember When". Steve, Charlie & Marie
would come out in the
'77 deVille,
"Red Racer" Ted, KE4TTE was in his work truck.
Laura, NO4OO would
bring her '98
Firebird, Pablo & Nilda were in
their '96 Taurus.
Doug & Joanne in her daily driver,
Rene would be in his daily driver his friend Alan came out on his
motorcycle tonight but said he would come in one of his cruisers next
time. Regular spectators included Jazzmine & Glenda, Anna, Carlene & Don, Coy,
Pat & Alan, Jim & Lori, Keith, Joe & Mary, Charles with his Caregivers
Mary & Larry.
Arne brought out his Motorcycle, Bill and Karen at the memorabilia table,
Meagan was nearby.
The
"Blue Suede Review" had it's regular members tonight,
Paul,
Shawn,
Jimi and
Peter and they were in good form tonight.
During the second set, that was a "Blue Christmas Special" they were
joined by Charlotte and Amy as backup singers.
Mike Singer KJ4GNI was at the controls in the Blue Room, Allan was
manning the controls at street level,
Emma took care of the 50/50 ticket sales, Thank you. Other Cruisers that
made it out included
Nichole in the '05 Tundra,
Garry & Skip made it out in the '67 Nova,
Buddy & Donna were in the '07 Corvette north of the stage.
Ken & Wanda arrived in their
'78 "Indy Pace Car" Corvette, Dan & Rosemary arrived in their "Gold" 2000 Mustang Convertible
bringing the final car count to 31.
The spectator crowd was extremely large, hundreds of
new friends would enjoy the show.
Tracy was in here poodle skirt
visiting with all in attendance.
"Mustang Mike"
and I would take the stage just after the first set, Jazzmine would be
our "Ticket Picker". Wolfman & Sue donated a few door prizes that
included chairs and a car seat massager. Thank You!
Cruiser of the Week was awarded to Cruiser #149, Bob Melendy with his
'65 Rambler Ambassador.
Maria a local resident spectator had the winning ticket for the $163
50/50.
Cruiser # 100 Scott Chiavini missed out on the $60 Cruise-A-Matic so it
goes up to $70 next week.

come out on a Wednesday Nite. Come on out, "Rain or Shine!" Cruisers, if
you don't want to bring out the car because of the weather come on out
anyway, lets build the audience on our own. Remember good entertainment
and good friends makes a great evening in our "Home Town".
