Newsletter #214 Is on sale this week.

This dreary, cold weather, didn't stop the "Rock at the Clock" tonight. Dwight was back with us, back from his secret mission. The night sure turned out to be a good one with 25 cars including a Velocity Yellow, LS3 powered ZHZ  C6 'Vette driven by a Scotsman. Bob & Barb from near Glasgow Scotland, whom are regular annual spectators and Cruisers in their home town, with a '57 Chevy I might add, actually got to get in our lineup tonight.

I arrived alone today, Linda stayed home for the first time. Neither one of us have been on our game the last week. This winter weather got to both of us. Anyway it was 4:00 when I arrived,  Bill & Doris had their '79 T-Bird  second spot from the stage. Gary's HHR was parked in just where he likes it. Wolfman & Sue had their  Wolf Wagon parked in their favorite spot already. Bill would have his "Tribute" Ranger pick up next to them. Pep & Nancy would have their '91 Mustang Convertible nearby. I would situate our '61 Corvair next to the stairs. Later Mustang Mike" would back his '64 Greenbrier next to it.  Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England came in over the HAM radio. It wasn't long before Bob & Barb backed the ZHZ 'Vette into a spot. Greg was the next to arrive in his '85 Camaro. Doug would be in his El Camino,  Ron & Nancy would park their HHR north of the stage. James would have his '67 Firebird parked just before Laura, NO4OO, in her '98 Firebird would arrive. Bert & Ernie would park their "Elvis Tribute" PT Cruiser next to the stage. Esther would arrive from work in her daily driver but it wasn't long after that, Dave, Mesha & Nichole would park the ''83 Grand Marquis next to the T-Bird. Then we heard the rumble. Bob in his '68 SS396 Chevelle along with Nick & Francine '32 Ford Coupe rolled in from the south end of "Trophy Row". Jen from WJBJ even came out in her '64 F-85. "Red Racer" Ted, KE4TTE would bring his Nismo Nissan and park North of the stage. Shaun was the first member of "Blue Suede Review"  to arrive tonight followed by Charlie the fill lead guitarist, then Paul and Peter. Mike Singer, KJGNI, would make it to the controls of the "Blue Room". Dave, Jo Ellen and Morgan would be out in the daily driver.

Regular spectators included Jasmine & Glenda and  Jim & Lori, Coy and lots of other familiar faces that I have to learn the names of. Other Cruisers that made it out were Tony & Marianne in their SS454 Monte Carlo. Pablo & Nilda in their VW, Butch with his LTD, Ken & Wanda in the '78 "Indy Pace Car" Corvette. Brian & Lisa with Quintino at the wheel of his new '08 Custom Radio Flyer would be checking out the cars and visiting with all. Tom & Bunny would join in with us tonight, they brought their '66 Malibu and grandson with them. Tracy would be out with family, Jim & Nilda, Mom and Dad along with sister Kathy and friends, Eddie and his wife for a birthday celebration. During his first set,  Dwight would dedicate her a song and give her a Teddy Bear. Cat would be out to visit with Laura and the rest of us again, she is becoming a regular. Bill & Karen along with Meagan would be at the table as usual.

Bill & Doris interviewed a gentleman from Michigan that was in town for the first time since the opening of Little Darlin's over 20 years ago. The story will appear elsewhere in the paper. Be sure to check out all of the Photos and Video's from tonight on line.

Cruiser of the Week went to Cruiser #54 Bert & "Ernie" Brown in their '07 Elvis Tribute PT Cruiser. The $104 50/50 would go home with Ken I mean, Wanda Tiggleman, Cruiser #2. The Cruise-A-Matic rolls over to $30 next week.

Thank You to Old Town for inviting us out every week, to the Old Town Merchants association for sponsoring "A Tribute to the King", to Tracy Old Town's events director that brought us the "Rock at the Clock" event and to Gary & Dave our own TCB guys for giving us the time that they do and to all of the Cruisers that are starting to come out on a Wednesday Nite. Come on out, "Rain or Shine!" Cruisers, if you don't want to bring out the car because of the weather come on out anyway, lets build the audience on our own. Remember good entertainment and good friends makes a great evening in our "Home Town".
