It was the day before Thanksgiving, we met some
friends from the UK. Jeff & Maureen at a local Restaurant on the
Parkway for lunch before
we would head out to our "Home Town".
Gary and Kathy's
66 Fairlane 500XL, Joe & Penny in
their Ranger was North of the stage and were working at the Caricature
shop.
Bill & Doris
had
their
'79 T-Bird
next to the stage. Wolfman & Sue had their
Wolf Wagon parked next to Ray's
'32 Ford 3 Window Coupe when we arrived in our
1967 Dodge Dart 270 at 3:45
Allan
& Scotty were on duty.
Dave,
Esther, &
Mesha would be next in line with
their
'83 Grand Marquis, "Mustang Mike"
would back his
'64 Greenbrier next to us.
Graham, G4HFG, now back in Oldham
England, would check in over the radio to bid his Hello's to everyone.
Nick & Francine
'32 Ford Coupe rolled in from the
south end of "Trophy Row" followed by
Mark who would bring his
532 CID 1300HP '63 "Blown to be Wild" Falcon
all the way from Parrish tonight.
Darrell situated his '66 LTD in the spot he takes on a Saturday North of
the Stage.
Tom & Lori brought out a 'Vette and not one of their MOPARS to join in
with us for the first time. Sue & Steve '08 brought out their "Elvis
Tribute" PT Cruiser and substituted for Karen who had family commitments
and Arne would fill in for Bill on the stage.
Pep & Nancy would have their
'91 Mustang Convertible next to
the Corvair van.
Mike who would be in town for 3 weeks with his '69 Camaro heard about “Rock at the
Clock” during the cruise on Saturday and came out tonight.
Lynn would bring out her
'49 Ford Pickup. Jim and a carload
would bring out the '71 Monte Carlo.
Pablo & Nilda would have their '96 Taurus out tonight, Jim was in his '69
Firebird,
Steve & Charlie would bring out the '77 Deville.
Stan the Pacerman came to visit with us for a while. Many of our regular spectators were present including Jasmine & Glenda,
Anna, Porky, Coy, Jim & Lori, Fred & Betty, T-Rod, KT4ROD spent the
evening with us, Bob N2SXJ and friend Alan came out and it was good to
see Doug Stewart, Laura NO400 was feeling “under the weather” so opted
reluctantly to stay home and keep warm. Mike Singer, KJ4GNI, was at the controls
in the Blue Room and Allan was set up in the street controlling the
secondary mixing system, he was well prepared tonight under his canopy
he had installed a propane heater, envied by many including
Dwight. The
"Blue Suede Review" had Tom filling in for Peter on the keyboard
tonight. Meagan was in her usual place singing along and having a
good time.
Welcome back regular SCTNC Canadian Snowbird cruisers Fred & Carole in
their '78 Fairmont Futura and Jim & Joyce in their '69 Cougar and
friends (sorry Linda did not get their names). They all enjoyed their
first “Rock at the Clock” experience and look forward to attending more
Wednesdays before returning home in April.
Bob & Marge arrived in the
'68 SS396 Chevelle, Marge has not been able
to come out on a Wednesday because of her work schedule, she was not
disappointed in Dwight’s performance and said we had not exaggerated his
talent.
Doug would be out in his '78 El Camino,
Trish & Doug brought out their '68 Bronco and would be North of the
Stage.
Mesha joined
Dwight for a duet
during his second set.
Linda was helped by
Esther,
Mesha and
T Rod with the 50/50 ticket sales,
Thank you. "Mustang Mike"
and I would take the stage during the first break, Jasmine did a great job picking the tickets, Thank you.
Esther had the winning ticket for the $85 but Mesha was first at the
stage to claim it, they rewarded Jasmine with $5.
Cruiser Number 52, Bill Khoenle missed out on the $40 Cruise-A-Matic so it
goes up to $50 next week.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home with
Gary & Kathy Collins, Cruiser #50 in their '66 Ford Fairlane 500XL.

Tracy, Old Town's events director
that brought us the "Rock at the Clock" event and to
Gary &
Dave our own
TCB guys for giving us
the time that they do and to all of the Cruisers that are starting to
come out on a Wednesday Nite. Come on out, "Rain or Shine!" Cruisers, if
you don't want to bring out the car because of the weather come on out
anyway, lets build the audience on our own. Remember good entertainment
and good friends makes a great evening in our "Home Town".
