Newsletter #213 Is on sale this week.

We actually had to get some work done today from our "Coupon" job so we lined it up so that we would arrive at Old Town just before 3:45. Allan, Gary and Scotty were by the maintenance office as we passed by. Gary's HHR was parked in the display area. Wolfman & Sue had their  Wolf Wagon parked in their favorite spot. We would situate our '60 Ranchero next to the stairs just before Bill & Doris in their '79 T-Bird would park in the second spot from the stage. Dave & Nichole would park the ''83 Grand Marquis next to them. Bill, N2WFU Virginia, W2VEJ & "The Boys" would park the '98 NYPD Radio Car" next tus. Mustang Mike" would back his '64 Greenbrier next to them, he had a cake in honor of Emma's birthday. Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England came in over the HAM radio. John in his '57 Chevy 210 would park across from us. Chris with his '75 Formula 400 would be back from a trip to South Carolina, he would be next in line by the stage. "Cigar" Bob came directly from work in his Daily Driver to sell the 50/50 tickets. Sue & Steve parked their '08 "Elvis Tribute" PT Cruiser North of the stage. Lynn would be out in her '49 Ford Pickup. "Red Racer" Ted, KE4TTE would bring his Nismo Nissan and park south of the stage. Laura, NO4OO, in her '98 Firebird would park next to him. Pep & Nancy were the next to park in line with their '91 Mustang Convertible. Emma would arrive in her daily driver. Roger would be out in his daily driver Nick & Bob in the '32 Ford 5 window Coupe took the last spot on the West side. Bob's Chevelle is still undergoing the engine transplant. Butch would park his  '84 LTD on the last spot on the East side. Gary & Wanda in their '55 Bel Air "Remember When" would park North of the stage as would Bert & Ernie '66 Comet Wagon.

Shawn was the first member of "Blue Suede Review"  to arrive tonight followed by Shaun the fill in drummer, then Paul and Peter, Ted Torres would be filling in for Dwight tonight, he was off on a secret mission this week. Tracy would arrive just before Bill & Karen and Arne. Regular spectators included Jasmine & Glenda and  Jim & Lori.

The first set started, Ted Torres would come to the stage and perform the "Early Years" set to a very receptive audience. Dave & Jo Ellen stopped by in their daily driver on their way home, Dave was the last person to buy 50/50 tickets and they would turn out to be the “lucky” tickets. "Mustang Mike" Bob & I would take stage for the drawings and award right after the first set. Cruiser of the Week went to Cruiser # 175 Lynn Olsen with her '49 Ford Pickup. Mary a spectator had the winning ticket for the $69.00 50/50 and the Cruise-A-Matic rolls over to $20, Cruiser # 53 Tom Spinello a snowbird was not present to win tonight.

Laura’s friend Cat made it out just as the drawings were finishing as did T-Rod, KT4ROD. Gene a snow bird from Illinois in his '28 Studebaker with 3 friends. they plan on joining us again next week, only a little earlier. It was time for Lead Guitarist, Shawn Bryant to entertain us for the second set with a great Buddy Holly impersonation. We would have liked to stay to the end but we have our monthly meeting at 10:00 am in the morning we headed for home after the second song. Most of the Cruisers were still in the audience on this very cold evening, I forgot to mention, it was the coldest day since last April with the mercury near 40 degrees when we left.

Thank You to Old Town for inviting us out every week, to the Old Town Merchants association for sponsoring "A Tribute to the King", to Tracy Old Town's events director that brought us the "Rock at the Clock" event and to Gary & Dave our own TCB guys for giving us the time that they do and to all of the Cruisers that are starting to come out on a Wednesday Nite. Come on out, "Rain or Shine!" Cruisers, if you don't want to bring out the car because of the weather come on out anyway, lets build the audience on our own. Remember good entertainment and good friends makes a great evening in our "Home Town".
