What a fantastic night! Lots of Cruisers and spectators alike. This Fall weather and the onset of the migration of our "Snowbirds" should start to bring these number higher. 30 Cruiser cars were on display tonight, with a few more Cruisers that came out in their daily drivers.

Linda & I arrived in our '61 Corvair just at 3:45 Bill & Doris were already parked with their T-Bird and were debugging it, yup, it is "Love Bug Season" once again. Gary's HHR was already in place as were the cones for the Cruiser Parking sots. "Wolfman" and Sue would arrive in the Wolfwagon. Allan was there zipping around in his kart helping get things ready for tonight's entertainment. James would even bring out his '67 Firebird tonight and park it next to us, Chris would back his Formula 400 next to him. Linda and I would head up for something to eat at Flippers, Trish took great care of us. Graham, G4HFG and Collin, 2E0RIG, from Oldham, England would check in over the radio. While we were dinning the Cruiser spots started to fill up, I don't know what order they came in but they would start to fill up the 30 spots we had. Pablo & Nilda were out in their '72 VW. Dave, Esther, Mesha  were out in the '83 Grand Marquis. Mike & Emma would be in the '64 Greenbrier. John had his '57 Chevy out, Ray was in South America on a charity mission and should be back on Saturday. "Red Racer" Ted, KE4TTE brought out his  "Red Racer", Bob N in his '36 Ford Humpback Tudor. Even Darrell a regular Saturday Nite Cruiser was out in his '66 LTD. Bert & "Ernie" were in their Elvis Tribute PT Cruiser. Laura, NO4OO, would make it out in her Firebird all the way up from the south end of the "Green Swamp". Bob in his '68 SS396 Chevelle and Nick & Fran in their '32 Ford Coupe would arrive and join the line up just to the south of our car. Joe  & Penny would have their Ranger pickup next to the bleacher. Keith would have his El Camino North of the stage. Ron & Nancy would be out with some guests in their HHR, Sue & Steve would be out in their "Elvis Tribute" PT Cruiser, yes there are at least 2 of them. Greg, the Poinciana Kid was with us tonight as well. Lyn would be in her '49 Ford pickup. Tony & Marianne were out without the Monte Carlo it was good to see them. Ron & Sandy, regular Friday Nite Cruisers, would have their '79 Berlinetta Camaro out. Doug would have his El Camino in the line up. Pep & Nancy would arrive in their Mustang Convertible all the way up from Lakeland. Butch would have his LTD nearby. By now the  would be setting up on stage. Mike Singer, KJ4GNI would be at the controls in the "Blue Room". Tracy would arrive to make sure all was going right and to spend the evening at Old Town. Steve, Charlie & Marie would come out in the '77 deVille. Ken & Wanda brought out the now familiar Indy Pace Car Corvette.

The support staff for Dwight would arrive, Miss Meagan, Bill & Karen and Arne. The night was set. Bob & Emma would be selling the 50/50 tickets. Jim Kurzon and Lorie would be awaiting the music to start along with the rest of us. Buddy would arrive in his Corvette just before the music started. Dwight and the"Blue Suede Review" would rock the place in their first set as usual. The ticket sales were brisk and all in attendance were having a great time. There were hundreds of spectators along with the 50 or so Cruisers that are never disappointed.

"Mustang Mike" would make the final call for the 50/50 tickets after Dwight's first set. Mike, Bob & I would take stage for the drawings and awards just about 7:45. Abby from England was recruited from the audience to pick the tickets. We would draw for many prizes that were purchased with the cash from last week, there would also be prizes donated from the Old Town merchants. The $97 50/50 would go home with a spectator, Jerri from Kissimmee. Paul Schwartz, Cruiser #43 Would have gone home with the $50 "Cruise-A-Matic" but he didn't come out tonight, AWWWWW. So next week we have $60 in the offering.

Thank You to Old Town for inviting us out every week, to the Old Town Merchants association for sponsoring "A Tribute to the King", to Tracy Old Town's events director that brought us the "Rock at the Clock" event and to Gary & Dave our own TCB guys for giving us the time that they do and to all of the Cruisers that are starting to come out on a Wednesday Nite. Come on out, "Rain or Shine!" Cruisers, if you don't want to bring out the car because of the weather come on out anyway, lets build the audience on our own. Remember good entertainment and good friends makes a great evening in our "Home Town".

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with "Mustang Malibu Mike" Bencz and Emma, Cruiser #19, in their '64 Corvair Greenbrier 6 Door Van.
