"Red Racer" Ted, KE4TTE was waiting for us in his
"Red Racer" when we
arrived at Old Town just before 4:00. Tommy, the regular fill in
keyboard player for the "Blue Suede Review" and
Gary were on the stage shooting the
breeze, it looked like we wouldn't be getting any rain tonight. We
backed our '60
Ranchero, Elvira, in to a spot just
down from
Gary's
HHRthatwas parked in his favorite
spot,
Allanwas out on "Trophy Row".
Bill & Doriswould park their
T-Bird in the second spot to the south of the stage. Joe & Penny would
have their Ranger parked next to the bleacher behind the "Tropical
Breeze". "Wolfman" and Sue would arrive and
take a spot big enough to set up the
Wolfwagon. Laura, NO4OO, would make
it
out in her

South side of the stage. Greg would have his Camaro in the line up to
the south of us. Charlie would situate his

sure all was right in Town tonight. Butch would be out in his LTD, Steve

pitching a fit right now, Tony, Bob ad Nick worked on it yesterday, it
was still good to see them out.

under the stairs.
Dwight would take stage for his first set.
The spectator crowd that had many familiar and new faces that I am sure
will become familiar in weeks to come, just loved him. Tom O'Neil was
with family from the UK and they were having a very good time. Keith
with his '83 El Camino and a yellow Corvette parked North of the stage.
"Mustang Mike"
would make his way down from the "Blue Room" just after
Dwight's first set. Mike,
Tracy & I
would take stage for the drawings and awards just about 7:45. We would
draw for many prizes that were purchased with the cash from 2 weeks ago,
there would also be prizes donated from the Old Town merchants. The $133
50/50 would go home with a spectator, Bob Simmons from Poinciana. Bert &
"Ernie" would arrive in their "Elvis Tribute" PT Cruiser during the
drawings.
The "Cruise-A-Matic" of $60 went home with Cruiser

Thank you. Next week we start over at $10.
We welcome Glenn & Stephanie that came out late in
their '08 Shelby.
Kristen, KJ4BST would arrive during
the second set in her Friday Cruiser, so that made 38 Cruisers in 20
Cruiser cars. This event is growing and we hope to have many more in the
Wednesdays to come.
Thank You to Old Town for inviting us out every week,
to Budweiser the King of Beers for sponsoring "A Tribute to the King", to
Gary &
Dave our own TCB guys for giving us
the time that they do and to all of the Cruisers that are starting to
come out on a Wednesday Nite. Come on out, "Rain or Shine!" Cruisers, if
you don't want to bring out the car because of the weather come on out
anyway, lets build the audience on our own. Remember good entertainment
and good friends makes a great evening in our "Home Town".
Just one of eight new submissions I put on YouTube.
Congratulations to the winners and Thank You to all
that came out tonight.
See you
