"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida
In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

Tonight we headed out to see Dwight Icenhower's show at Old Town, Allan had some spots for us both sides of the stage. We could enter "Trophy Row" through the North Gate, just East of the Merry-go-round.

We arrived just about 5:00 in our Corvair, Allan, was near his Golf Cart, Dave, Esther, Mesha, Nikki, and Asa were out in their '83 Mercury and Kathy C had her PT Cruiser already in spots across from the stage. Gary was playing with the cones. Tonight Dwight Icenhower would be on stage with his band the "Blue Suede Review". James in his Firebird was the next to arrive. Then Nick & Fran in the '32 Ford Coupe. Fran, actually it was Linda, was hungry so we went up to, you guessed it, "Flippers", Jane must not have gotten the memo either, she was off so Gina took great care of us tonight. While were were dinning, Ron & Renee arrived in the '61 Caddy as did George & Mary in their Monte Carlo. Bill & Doris would bring out their T-Bird. Pep & Nancy would be in their Mustang convertible, Lynn was there but not the '49 Ford pickup. Mike. N4HHA and Kristen, KJ4BST in their Corvair convertible would park next to George and Mary. Butch of WJBJ stopped out to enjoy the concert and visit with Mike Singer and all that were out.  "Mustang Mike" and Emma were out in the daily driver. Ken & Wanda, Coy, Pablo & Nilda, Kevin, KM4FSU, Ian, G4ZPZ and Sue, 2E1SUE from Manchester, England along with hundreds of others. Tracy would escort the A&W Root Bear to the stage area for the "Teddy Bear" song. Scotty was keeping a mindful eye on the crowd and enjoying the music as well. Bert & Ernie were out as well, I don't think she would miss a single concert performance. Next week, the 16th she will be right back here for her birthday.

A great night was had by all, some left after the first set others after the second, we stayed for all three as did most of the audience. Thank You to Old Town, the Topical Breeze and Budweiser for this summer concert.

Next week we should be back at the "Square" weather permitting. If you get the chance don't miss the next one, Dwight has only 6 left and he won't be here on the 13th of August.
