"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida
In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England came in over the radio to join us at the event while we were still in route, then when Linda & I arrived at the "Square", just about 4:10 in our 'Elvira, or '60 Ranchero, we were the only ones there for about 5 minutes then Mark R stopped by in his daily driver, Jack in his '29 Model A, "Old Yeller" would arrive minutes later. "Mustang Mike" and Emma situated the DJ rig into it's spot about the same time I spotted Ron A back at the wheel of his '61 Caddy this week. Paul then backed his "Toy Truck" into his favorite spot. Ron H chugged his Model A Tudor into the "Square" for the first time since getting back from Georgia. Don R would back his '68 Mustang Fastback next to Ron A. "Lucky Louie" would be next to arrive in his '50 Ford, sporting a new coat of paint. Al would arrive much later and park his Model A Tudor next to Ron's. The weatherman promised us rain so I am sure many of or regulars stayed home. Roy would park his '64 Galaxie 500 ragtop to the East of the Patio, Steve & Charlie would be the last to arrive in the  '77 deVille. James did place his '67 Firebird convertible in it's place of honor just after the DJ rig was set up. "Scary Larry", Roger, was out in his daily driver arriving before many of the others.

There was more activity over the radio tonight, Ed, WB8BHL, checked in to see what was going on. He had great news, one of his photos made the front page of the Orlando Sentinel today, congratulations! Ian, G4ZPZ, from Manchester stopped by via the radio to wish us all well and ask about the cars.

The Cruise-A-Matic" Rolls over to $40 next week, Bill Khoenle, Cruiser #52 wasn't out tonight.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with Paul Schwartz, Cruiser #43, he will bring out his '58 DeSoto next week.

Thank you to the Robertson Family for having us all out once again and giving us a home for our event each and every week. Thank you to the "Bites" staff, Brittany, Cody & Chris,  for taking such good care of all of us.

Hamlin Ave now goes through to Old Hickory Tree Road, so the back way out takes you to a traffic light.

 On to the Photos.
