"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida
In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

Linda & I arrived just about 4:00 in our 1960 Ranchero Elvira about 4:10, "Scary Larry" followed us in his ''86 Mustang. He is almost mended from the surgery on both hands. Paul was next in his "Toy Truck", then just about 4:45  "Mustang Mike"  situated the DJ Rig into it's spot. Laura, KI4ZJX in her Firebird (Hi Mary!) along with T-Rod, KT4ROD parked just down from us. Dan Z would be out in his '59 Edsel. Don R would park his '68 Mustang Fastback behind the DJ Rig. Bill would arrive in his '81 Blazer, then Ron A in his '61 Caddy. Richard would then park his '30 Ford Town Sedan where he likes it. Josh, KI4UCB would stop by to say hello and tell me just when he was going to stop by tomorrow with one of his Cheese Cakes, yum, yum.  Jack arrived just a little after that in "Old Yeller", his '29 Ford Model A Sport Coupe and parked next to Dan Z. "Lucky Louie" backed in to a newly vacated spot with his favorite '52 Ford. Fred from Michigan joined us in his daily driver. Then Ed & Sarah arrived in "Maybelline" their '62 Corvair and parked in her place of honor. Dave would then bring his '63 Avanti in to the "Square", Jo Ellen & Morgan would join him later. Andy & The "Wookie" were spotted by now in the '79 deVille and the '83 Mustang. Steve was out in the daily driver, Roy brought out his Infinity. Gary & Wanda would bring their '55 Chevy. Even "Big Jim" or King James as Dave calls him was out in his Pro Street Beretta. It was also good to see that '67 GTO and it's owner Jim R. Danny would make it out before 7:00, Al would roll his Model A into the lot just before George would make it out in his "Heirloom" '61 Falcon.

Somehow the night just flashed by after a lot of visiting with all that made their way out. It was 19 cars all told, we all would like to wish Nick a speedy recovery and tell him to hurry back out. Well, as soon as Fran will let him come.

Bill Khoenle  had the winning ticked for the $42 50/50, he donated $5 back to the Cruise, Thank You.

Cruiser #209 Jim Rouse was drawn in the "Cruise-A-Matic"  so he took home the $50, this will come in handy during his recuperation, he donated $5 to this newsletter, Thank You.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with Dave & Jo Ellen Krahn, and Morgan too, Cruiser #102 in their '63 Studebaker Avanti.

Thank you to the Robertson Family for having us all out once again and giving us a home for our event each and every week. Thank you to the "Bites" staff, Brittany, Cody & Chris,  for taking such good care of all of us.

On to the Photos. T Rod will be sending in a few more photos, check back later, I will put them below mine.
