"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida
In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

When Linda & I arrived just about 4:25 in our 1960 Ranchero Elvira, "Scary Larry" already had his '86 Mustang parked one over from the handicapped spot and James had his '67 Firebird across from it. Paul was next in his "Toy Truck", then just about 4:45  "Mustang Mike"  and Emma situated the DJ Rig into it's spot. Then Ed & Sarah arrived in "70 Shortbox" Chevy pickup. Just about then Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England was with us over the radio, wishing us all well and that he was  back in person, with us already. Fred, who will be going back to Michigan tomorrow, came out to his last Florida event for this trip. Bill would arrive in his '81 Blazer and park next to us, then Ron A backed his '61 Caddy into a spot next to Ed, Don R would then park next to him in his '68 Mustang Fastback. "Lucky Louie" brought out his '50 Ford, with it's new exhaust, sounded good. Roy would then back his '64 Galaxie 500XL convertible across from it and the top was still down. Mike would park his '65 GTO next to James' Firebird. The "Wookie" would bring out his '66 Buick followed into the "Square" by Andy in his '79 deVille. Charlie would be right behind them in his daily driver, Steve is in New Jersey. Don M would then back his '64 Corvair convertible in the handicapped spot on the East side of the Patio. Jim would then add his '67 GTO to what was now Pontiac row. Bert would be out in his '66 Comet Wagon. Then Al would arrive in his Model A. Danny arrived just before 7:00. George would make it out in his "Heirloom" '61 Falcon just before the drawings.

Somehow the night just flashed by after a lot of visiting with all that made their way out. It was 17 cars all told, we all would like to wish Nick a speedy recovery and tell him to hurry back out. Well, as soon as Fran will let him come.

Ed, the "Wookie", Guglich, Cruiser #10 had the winning ticked for the $45 50/50, winning twice on the same ticket.

Cruiser #9, "Lucky Louie" Piazza was drawn in the "Cruise-A-Matic"  so he took home the $10. So the Cruise-A-Matic" starts over at $10.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with Linda & Steve Butler, Cruiser #16 in their '60 Ranchero.

Thank you to the Robertson Family for having us all out once again and giving us a home for our event each and every week. Thank you to the "Bites" staff, Brittany, Cody & Chris,  for taking such good care of all of us.
