It would be a few minutes after 4:00 when
we arrived, Greg was already in the parking lot with his Camaro. "Scary
Larry" wasn't far behind us in his '86 Mustang. Don M would bring out
his '64 Corvair convertible, a work in progress, a little more done each
week. Paul arrived then turned around and left. "Lucky Louie" backed his
'52 Ford in to his favorite spot. Larry arrived in his '72 Chevy
Stepside, Dick would park his '65 2+2 Mustang across from him. "Cousin
John" would anchor his '72 deVille next to the patio on the East side
just after "Mustang Mike" got the DJ rig situated. Richard F would back
his Model A pickup into a spot down from Louie. Ron A would take his
favorite spot behind the DJ rig for his '61 Caddy. Bill K would park his
'81 Blazer next to Dick's Mustang. Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England
would check in over the radio to see who and what was at the Cruise-In.
Walt would then arrive in his '68 Chevrolet Impala SS396 Coupe. Then I
knew by the rumble that Nick would be arriving in his '32 Ford Coupe. He
took a spot next to Bill K. Ron H would then bring out his '30 Ford
Tudor, still dressed from the St. Patrick's day parade and park in a
recently vacated spot next to Larry. Bill A would park his '63
Parisienne next to Nick. Bob B would then arrive parking his '68
Chevelle across from Nick. Danny would then come out to join Larry. Alan
& Pat would join us at the table. Don R would park his '68 2+2 Mustang
next to Ron's Caddy.
BJ would visit with Nick & Bob, he is the one opening up
the new Pub right here at the "Square". Stan would also stop out to
visit with the Cruisers and look at the cars. Brittany and the "Bites"
Staff were busy feeding all of us. The "Wookie" then arrived in his '83
Mustang, Andy would be right behind him. Roy F would park his '64
Galaxie 500 XL next to Larry. Steve & Charlie would be out in the '77
deVille. Al would find a spot down from them for his Model A. Phillip, I
couldn't believe it, came out with his '86 Camaro and had to park way
down on the end behind Chris' truck. Stephen would back his 'Vette into
a spot along the front line. Then it must have been after 7:00, George
rolled his heirloom '61 Falcon into the "Square" and got the last
parking spot to the West. Mark would park his '62 Chevy next to
Stephen's 'Vette.
Thank you to the Robertson Family for having us all out
again, to Chris our gracious host for making us all feel welcome.
Bill Ashe was the holder of the winning ticket for the
$54 50/50, he donated $10 back to Mike. Thank You.
Jim DiCecco, Cruiser #107 would have taken home the
"Cruise-A-Matic" but he wasn't out tonight. So next week there is $50 in
the offering.
Here are a few photos.
Thank you to those that came out. Congratulations to the
