"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida
In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

We got ahead of ourselves today, well, not really but we arrived just before 4:00. We didn't see anyone else until 4:40 and it was "Cousin John" in his '72 deVille. "Scary Larry" pulled in and parked next to him. "Mustang Mike" then maneuvered his DJ rig into place just before 5:00. Bill K was next to arrive in his '81 Blazer. "Lucky Louie" was out in his '52 Ford and parked it in his favorite spot. Ron parked his '61 Caddy next to him. Alan & Pat, regular spectators joined us at the table. Don backed his '68 Mustang Fastback in to a spot next to the Caddy. Then I heard Nick rumbling towards us on 192 with his '32 Ford. Bob followed a little later in his '68 Chevelle SS396. Ed & Sarah came out in their '62 Corvair, "Maybelline" and parked it in the front row. Lenn brought his '60 Ford panel truck and parked on the West end. Dick was out in the '66 Mustang Coupe. Roy was the next to arrive in his '64 Ford Galaxie 500XL. Dave brought out his '63 Avanti complete with new ignition system. Jo Ellen and Morgan would join him later. Jim was out in his GTO. Andy, Steve & Charlie arrived about the same time in the deVilles. Larry made it out in his "ITZA40". Al even had the Model A out tonight. Bert came out in the '66 Comet wagon, lots of new lights under that car now! Kevin, KM4FSU, stopped out to visit. Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham, England checked in as did  Robert, K4RRF to see who and what was at the Cruise-In. It was still light out and George arrived in his '61 Falcon, he can't sneak in with that Black car now that the clocks have changed. It was past 7:00 though and he wasn't the last to arrive. Walt in his '68 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport was the last to arrive.

Once the Sun went down it got chilly and the wind picked up a bit, earlier it actually felt like Florida in the Spring. The night seemed to fly by.

The 50/50 was $52 and George Crofut, Cruiser #208 had the winning ticket, he then gave $5 back to the Cruise-In, Thank You.

Mike drew Cruiser #163, Tony DeBlasio, well, because we have put that number on hold, seeing as he is in Wisconsin freezing at the moment. The next number was 24, but Ed Booher wasn't out tonight ether. Awwwww. Next week there will be $60 in the offering.

This weeks "Cruiser of the Week" went home with Bill Ash, Cruiser #96, in his 1963 Pontiac Parisienne

Here are a few photos.

Thank you to those that came out. Congratulations to the winners.
See you all "Out There"
