November 2008
Chick-fil-A

We arrived with our 1979 T-Bird but Jen had the tent all ready set up and ready for the cruisers. We will miss the Pair-A-Dice Cruisers, they have managed this cruise show for over 2 years but have other things they want to do. We thank them for their support, they did a great job. This cruise will continue, we have Jen and Larry and cruise volunteers to help it along and a great back up with Rocky and the Chick-fil-a team. Great food and a friendly atmosphere.

Bob and Fran with their 1977 Volkswagen Bus came by soon after we arrived. Bob, Fran and us have not missed a cruise since they started over 2 years ago. Doug Kendel a friend from Old-Town parked behind us with his 1978 El Camino. Russ and Phyllis, often seen at Old-Town, with their 1971 Chevelle. Dave Falzon with his neat dragster showed up. He will also be our cruiser of the month for December. Cruiser of the month did not show up tonight.

A 1966 Honda, a 1958 Edsel, a 1970 Chevelle and Dusty, our fellow reporter, with his 1965 Galaxie were among the beautiful 41 registered cruisers tonight.  Jose Velazguez had his 1967 blue convertible Volkswagen out for the first time but he says, "it will not be his last".

Glen Clermost found his 1957 half ton long bed Chevy pickup about 12 years ago in California. He has been running it around 3 months. We had beautiful weather for this cruise. Our 50/50 was $101.00, very good for a small cruise, was won by Jesse Runner a fellow cruiser.

We want to thank one of our faithful sponsor, Elite Car Wash of Clermont for their support. They are also having a cruise of their own, Saturday November 15th from 10 Am to one o'clock.

Hope to see you all next month.
